Well I guess Riru and Miyuko's thread will be lost forever. Its quite surprising that they don't have any farewell message/SR which make it looks like they were fired. Kirara quited last year but still be able to have a fatewell message at least.

basically everything went as usual until 20th (they did ohanashikai in Tokyo at that day). Karin and Riru still did SR that day. The next days Karin doesn't do SR (which she tries to do every day), her 755 disappears and Miyuko and Riru stop updating their SNS. Also the buyee page was missing those 3 apparently already two days ago.

It seems none of the members knew anything, maybe Yukkiina, who at 23rd did a morning SR after "not being able to sleep the whole night" and there was also something about Soranon's mail but not sure (they also both continued their activities normally and in seemingly good spirits). Even in the morning of 24th, Missaa was asked in SR about Karin's 755 and she said: "hm she maybe accidentally deleted it? I don't think there's anything deep about it at all."

The news come out at 7 pm, when the HUETONE performance starts. All the members apparently received the news like two minutes before the announcement. It states that the management understood their intention was to quit and after discussing about their future activities, the result was that they would end Sep 24th.

Members immediately start reacting on Twitter, expressing they indeed knew nothing and are shocked. They share their memories and express support in future life so it doesn't really look like some scandal happened.

Miku wrote earlier on 755 she would do SR, but after the news come out, she says she's sorry but that she's gonna postpone to tomorrow. That's pretty much the only thing from the new members, except for Tome sternly announcing her MyoYoro time for tomorrow, and Hasemomo, one of Karin's best friends (they even did amazing collabo SR at 19th) and from the same area as Riru and Miyu, who just finished the HUETONE performance, posting a thank you video and then this....

Yuna (crying heavily): "I don't really know anything and so cannot say anything... maybe I could have spoken to them or sth.... I found out right before the HUETONE performance... I couldn't focus at all..."

Nonnon (no joke, showing she can be smart when she wants!): "Look, I don't know the details either, but I'm quite sure it's not any of this 'they probably did something bad'. So I think it'd be good to not spread any rumours and baseless info." Then after a bit of reading comments quietly: "okay, like... why the heck do people just tend to think it has to be drinking or something? I really hesitated whether I should do SR today because I knew such comments were gonna come."

Pyon: "Among the 12 new members, those 3, and especially like Riru-chan, she would often come to ask about the dancing, like if she is doing it right... but somehow those who have been doing this for 6 years and the new members, the fact that we didn't succeed in creating an environment where they could ask about other things than just dance as well, that is the most regrettable part... In the end probably only those three know why did they come to that decision."

Miu: "I don't really know any details, we were all surprised, but I understand it was their own wish."

Onishi: "The new members had done only a few activities when corona hit. They couldn't do theatre or anything... If they could have done stages, events, tours, concerts then things might have turned out differently... Those 3 were good friends so I guess they discussed it and made the decision and chose that path... AKB is not the only path after all..."

In the end it all points to them voluntarily quitting, although it still leaves many questions, like why was it so sudden and so secretive that only those 3 themselves knew, why they did not discuss it with anyone etc.

If the others out of solidarity with their female friend leave the group because they closed their social accounts?

 

If it was voluntarily, I also wonder why they didn't announce it and get a graduation of some sort. It's a shame they never really participated in stages and such. If they were annoyed about the girls not renewing their contract, I feel bad for them

 

Even if their graduation wasn't so sudden, what sort of celebration would they get? Have they learned any stage? They would need lessons and only then leave.

Ruka delayed hers because of the virus and, in the end, she only had a small graduation with three members.

Kirara announced her graduation on the site and left straight away.

Tsumugi announced hers on stage but she didn't have a graduation kouen either.

If Mashiro graduated today could she even have a kouen with more than 47 and another song?
