its not like a Request Hour would be interesting since SKE only has like, 14 more songs than last year and no new stages =/ (other than B3)

and it doesn't mean they lost it, maybe they will just change it to January or something just like AKB did.

It'd be inconvenient to hold it in January at the same time as the AKB one.

    I liked it in July.

AKB hasn't had their own Request Hour in three years. SKE is eventually going to have learn to share like the big girls have.

To each and their own, I guess.

Personally I'm more into it for the MCs (and shuffles if there are any) than anything else, since SKE's MCs for big concerts like these are generally way more interesting than AKB MCs (seeing as how the SKE MCs have things like dramas and stuff like that.)

Just being annoying and voicing my opinion.

Perhaps I should have been more clear....

AKB and SKE both do skits, this I know.

However, AKB usually only does ones relating to other media events (Majisuka Gakuen, Team YJ, etc)

SKE, however, does things like this (the recent Mousou Deka skit, the Akaigumi/Shirogumi skits, etc) but they also do skits that don't seem to be related to anything else (Rikki trying to make Nishishi her boyfriend, etc), therefore making them a bit more "original".

Of course I do suppose, one's definition of "skit" or "drama" as opposed to just an MC, differs from person to person, but....

Either way, if I'm missing some AKB moments feel free to correct me.

Aw, talk about bad timing. Will be landing in Tokyo on the evening of the 2nd. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get there just in time to grab the swag. Unless they'll be selling those inside.

But I must say Team E doesn't interest me at all. I don't know anyone in there. [speechless]

I don't want to add to this discussion because I very, very rarely watch MCs, but AKB does miniature skits pretty often in their MCs. Notably No3b have done a few, as well as the MVP-earning Sugars skit from AX 2011.

The purchasing company I use got me a ticket to the June 27 show for about 8000 yen.

Where is the show? Anyone know anything about the venue? Train travel to and from?

Thanks in advance from someone who has only ridden a train through Nagoya.

Thank you, I know how to use Hyperia. I was maybe hoping someone knew the actual train station, the directions from there and so on. I am sorry I was not more clear in my post. It would also be kewl to know any helpful advice from anyone who has been to that venue.

Edit: while the first post may mention the name of the Nagoya venue, it is not mentioned as such. Thus if one did not already know the Nagoya venue, one would not know that the first post mentions the venue at all. Thank you for letting me know the venue was somewhere in the first post.

That concert is in Zepp Nagoya. Look up Zepp Nagoya in Google. I never been to Zepp Nagoya, but if you have ridden train to Nagoya then it shouldn't be a problem I think. Anyway, why did you bought the one in Nagoya anyway? If it were in Tokyo I'll gladly take you there, but Nagoya is too far from me.

Here's a link to the web
    http://www.zepp.co.jp/nagoya/
    http://www.zepp.co.jp/nagoya/access.html

    I'm being nice today so
    「名古屋駅」より徒歩15~20分
    あおなみ線「ささしまライブ駅」より徒歩約5分

It say you can walk from Nagoya station 15-20 minutes
Or you can go using aonami-sen and go to sasashima raibu(live) and walk from there 5 minutes.

You can look at the map on the webpage of Zepp Nagoya.

Oh, and here's the link to the concert in SKE48 website

I picked Nagoya because I am going to school this summer in Hikone and it is about a half an hour train ride from the Maibara station. Whereas it takes three hours to get to Tokyo and round trip costs a couple hundred dollars.

    Thanks for all the information.
