No, Matsumoto Iyo does the 2007 cover version. The "original" (in the movie) 1995 version is by Goi Michiko, but it doesn't say who that really is, so it could still be Hoshino.

 

That'd be cool if it was Hoshino Michiru. I started noticing her right after she left the group, so I'd like to see more of her.

 

We have a release date, woo! I'm gonna go see it the first Friday it comes out And then maybe.... a few times after that too. Haha.

Website's been updated. The release date is the 18th apparently, and 25th countrywide.
