Single French Kiss 6th (Omoidasenai Hana) (14/10/01)

I'm not sure they've ever released CD only types. Maybe they did and I just didn't pay attention because I always want the DVD.

Anyway, it's only 1500 yen (give or take). So I don't think sales will be hurt. They are hoping Aki fans will collect all 4 for Savepoint. And having the event ticket thing will ensure that people buy multiple copies. I know someone planning on buying multiple copies who isn't even a big fan of any of the members just because he wants to go to the event. (He likes live idol events.)

Anyway, I would guess that it will sell maybe 50-60k. Anyone else have any sales predictions?

 

Yeah, I guess this will be their own Kirigirisu Jin, no3b's comeback to... disappear again.

As for sales... well.
Romance Privacy barely hit 80k when the girls were more popular... now it seems it's Yukirin the one holding the whole thing (Akicha's popularity is more stable, but Kuramocchi's is dropping hard). so I expect a total of around 70k.

 

According to the members' twitter, each of them will get a solo song as c/w.

This is actually great news! I knew we'd get at least an Akicha solo since the other two already had solo material released. Just like when Rabutan got her solo in Warota because Mayuyu started releasing solo singles.

 

This single... I'm super excited for it but I'm also really scared. It's gonna set me back $85 including shipping. (I always get shipping with tracking and the cheapest option is like $25.) I have about $50 saved up right now... I hope I can preorder before first press is gone.

Actually I'm kinda thankful this is released so far after the previous single, of course I missed having FK releases but it HAS been a relief for my wallet... ^^; But of course I have to keep getting all versions... It's just something I do for my favorite sub unit.

Is there no theater version this time? (I just wanna be sure where my funds are going... lol)

Omoidasenai Hana performed at Ongaku no Hi! Ahhh I love this song, the harmonies are so pretty!

 

The song is so sweet! And their live singing is really nice, I was impressed. I love the combo of these 3 so much, I hope they don't disband any time soon (also I miss the era of subunits so the prospect of them promoting more makes me excited)

 

A very good song. Especially the vocal harmonies, high above normal AKB standard. I'm really looking forward for this single.

 

This song is pure pleasure for my ears. It sounds like some good old Jpop oldies, and the girls displayed very good vocals.
This is the best song from anything 48 I've heard since Tomonoura Bojou.

Wow the music is nice! I couldn't tell if it was live singing or not, if it was that would mean they did a great job here (and being Akicha-oshi that would be amazing!), but I doubt it was live
