Speaking of Christmas songs, that is another reason why I miss janken singles. They usually featured a Christmas song as a b-side and I love them all a lot. Noel no Yoru was actually the first (and only) AKB48 song I have ever heard on the regular radio in Europe. I would love for them to release a Christmas song as a digital single.

 

I always mean to look up all the AKB Christmas songs and put them on a playlist - there are a bunch of them.

 

11-gatsu should be an AKB Christmas staple

 

Can anyone add any if I've missed any? These are the Christmas songs I know about

And while it’s not necessarily Christmas themed, Hanjmari no Yuki has that winter holiday vibe.

And?? we all know christmas season start in 1st november with the first play of "all I want for christmas is you"

 

Really happy about this song choice! Iiwake Maybe is in my top 3 favorite AKB a-sides and I'm SO happy that AKB will perform a Christmas song I said it many times in the past but I missed it so much when AKB had theme singles and we used to have Christmas songs as b-side at the end of the year... it's been years since the last one and I wish they did it again. I'm happy enough that they'll perform one of their Christmas songs, so excited for this performance

Oh I really like this senbatsu especially seeing Renacchi in the line-up!!! in recent years they stopped including her in TV performances and in AKB senbatsu in general... so this is a great news since she is one of my favs ;w; I'm also happy for Rei, and surprised for Momoka, nice! First the very good song choices and now a good senbatsu, seems like I'm going to love this performance I can't wait ^^/
