^Exactly my thoughts. If they are announcing the new single at today's handshake, then it would totally be normal for the new song to be part of the medley. However, correct me if I'm wrong but I think new songs are often shown in full? I don't think they've ever shown it in a medley form.
I put my bet on they will release 47th single on Kojimatsuri and raise it by they will do a group shuffle announcement lol
If it is a medley, I don't think they will perform 47th single even if it is announced today. My reasoning is that it will just undermine the new single by just include it in a medley for the first reveal. But there is a slight chance that they will perform it as a part of Kojiharu centered song medley if 47th single is indeed centered by Kojiharu. Still think that it is unlikely.
Maenomeri, Boku wa Inai and NMB's latest were all presented in medleys. Althought that could be that the SG are barely getting invitation to the big shows by themselves so they have to tag along with whatever comes their way. My guess, with the vague information we have, is that it will be a medley for Kojiharu as a farewell present (classic songs + her centers + Sakura no Ki or 365). AKB will be probably be back in MS for the new single... but Kojiharu is probably making a Mariko and leaving before the single comes out. So, I imagine that Kojiharu isn't really the center of the 47th one, even though she probably has a solo line somewhere in there. *prays*
lol come to think of it that nogi ver of heavy rotation was a sign lololol why didn't we see it coming XD
Damn, was I wrong. Because it was kind of expected for them to participate in the single like they did last year in Kimi wa Melody?
Handshake event schedule for 47th single: Shoot sign. 2017/05/14 Intex Osaka 2017/06/10 Pacifico Yokohama 2017/06/11 Pacifico Yokohama 2017/06/24 Makuhari Messe 2017/06/25 Makuhari Messe + 2017/07/23 AKB48 Group Yukata Matsuri (Makuhari Messe) And AKB48 8th album will have a two shoot in June 4th So.. AKB48 General Elections will be in June 17th&18th? It's a good plan because there would be two handshake event last week and two more the week after.
But it was only last year so I didn't know if this year would be the same. Anyways, I want a shuffle before election ^_^
I second shuffle too. Team A only has 11 members (counting announced graduation, kennin, and T8 kennin). Team B is also at quite a pinch with 12 members (again, counting the ones mentioned). If we count the senbatsu members that won't before at the theater, Team B only has 8 members left and Team A being better by 1 member. The only team standing strong is Team 4 with considerably good amount of theater and senbatsu members.
I think you meant not counting grads, kennin and 8? Counting those, Team A has exactly 16. Anyway A shuffle solves nothing if there are no members to shuffle. They need to promote the D2 now because they're gonna end up leaving before doing anything of value. But they can't do much with the 16th gen yet (and I don't want them to for now). I think the teams can go on as they are now using the KKS as unders (and Yuiri cause she's everywhere), but a shuffle just won't do it. I mean, even the girls looked bored during the last one in 2015 because they had been through THREE in THREE years.
Why full shuffle, just promote and probably move a one or two around if they really need to. But at the current state of the teams, it doesn't really matter.
I get the feeling that people who want a shuffle, aren't going to want it if it does end up happening this year. Me, Just Promoted the rest of the D2 girls already (should have happen this time last year) before we have any kind of shuffle. So if they does happen (SSK on the 17th and 18th (17th more in likely). That would probably mean the 48th Single will be release on May 31st.
I have been the one predicting, for a long while now, a shuffle for the second half of this year. And yes, I do want it. I feel the group is in great need of one. Team identity is well and truly dead at this point.
Another shuffle wouldn't help with that. If they keep the teams as they are for... another year? Maybe something will be gained.
