[GENERAL] THE JKT48 thread!

The MRK48 KFC fan version is more or less the same with the AKBWrapUp one. The only difference is the former used JKT KFC and the latter used AKB KFC.
What makes MRK48 KFC fan version so special that you thought it won't get taken down too just like they (Youtube) did to the AKB48WrapUp one? A simple wishful thinking and idealism do not cut it.

Japan Recording Industry was the one that notified Youtube about AKB48WrapUp KFC fan version. They clearly favor the KFC fan version that was already uploaded on AKB official YT. I personally love all fan versions.

The MRK48 KFC fan version will probably be off the hook as long as it doesn't generate significant enough viewers.

JKT will be at the Indonesia Festival in tokyo,japan...

 

You guys know Project Pop? For those who don't, they're a group that usually do songs with hilarious lyrics, maybe like Weird Al Yankovic.
Inside their latest album, they have BDG40, a blatantly Jpop-ish song, taking references from JKT48. Maybe the most blatant one is the intro, feels like First Rabbit (although the notes are different.) For lyrical references, I dunno, but maybe I see one referencing Oogoe Diamond?

I haven't heard the song, but the news already reached me earlier.

Project Pop is considered a 'veteran' musician here, so they trying to imitate about JKT48 could mean a good thing. Their songs are always enjoyable, too.

On the other topic,
any news about Semarang? I've confirmed several members whom tweeted that they will take part, and it's a mixture of both teams. Nab, Ve, and Sendy will definitely be in Japan at that time, so these three are off the list.

There is still no clear information on the others, though...

Did anybody see the girls' performance on Star Teen Global TV? Ayen mentioned on her Twitter that Fahira (a graduated member) was one of the finalists.

Anyway, a funny thing happened to my friend who was actually there when they performed. She's a producer for a radio station here in Jakarta, and she posted a pic on instagram of the girls in RIVER seifuku commenting "first time seeing them live", so I replied :

"Enjoy the show!"

to which she replied back :

"I'm terrified of them! Nobody is smiling!!"

 

yup that's right...fahira is one of the finalist,i notice this when she was at dahsyat...
and she got the part of reading JKT's RIVER on Dahsyat chart
