[GENERAL] The NMB48 Thread

On another thread I refered to them as almost like the new WMatsui, I feel that these two are definatly the NMB eqivalent of them, especially if they will be regulars in AKB singles for a while....

 

Yes, please. Everything seems to be progressing so fast for them, but I don't think it's a bad thing.

 

I want more Ogasawara.

Do you guys have any show recommendations for NMB48 for people who want to get into them?
I mean AKB has like AKBINGO and stuff, so I was wondering if there was anything similiar for NMB48

 

NMB Jungle would probably be your best choice for right now. Docking48 will probably become THE show once we get RAWs and more episodes.

After Jungle, I would say go to either Kagaijugyou or Star Hime. Star Hime is great since you see them grow as a group if you like that stuff. Jungle, Docking and Kagaijugyou are your more traditional varieties.

 

Sorry to keep naggin', but looks like this is it. Yamamoto IS NMB's center (I can't believe I actually hoped for a sec Miyuki would be), and as much as I adore the girl, I couldn't help being depressed for the rest of the day.
So now Miyuki's our Takamina? How unfitting.

 

I don't think so. Sayaka IS the NMB-equivalent of Takamina, being the leader and all. However, I don't think you should look at other 48's and start comparing who's the Taka-of-NMB or Atsuko-of-NMB, because that doesn't really make sense. There might be a few resemblances here and there, but they won't be exactly the same. It's like saying if there's a W.Matsui-equivalent in AKB, or a Mayu-Equivalent in SKE.

If you really want to start picking out the equivalents, well, I suppose you can. But NMB's just starting to pick up speed, so I don't think you'll be seeing those trends that quick anyway. =/

 

I wasn't talking about equivalents. I did mention Takamina, but as in Takamina's 2nd in command spot thing.
I was talking about Sayamina being on the theater cover of Kachuusa. That cover itself had the clearest idea with it ever. It obviously featured the face/center/Ace of each 48 group. Jurina, Acchan....and Sayaka.

Surprised they're not doing an SKE stage next, though. But I thought Seishun Girls might be done again one day! =D This is the stage that made me a Team B fan. Omg.

 

Better try and see their First stage again then damn not much time left...been applying but nothing came up yet. Anyway.. Stage 2 woo! Blue rose is one of my favourite Stage songs.

Holy crap. Short first Stage or what? I was kind of hoping they'd either get their own Stage or a newer, "fairer" Stage. I'm excited about new Cinderella costumes, though.

 

^First stages usually only last about 4 months, so this is longer than usual (especially considering they're performed almost every day)

Milky in Kinjirareta Futari would be kind of cool, even though I don't like that song. I actually don't like any of K2's units, except for Blue rose, so I don't really care what she's in. xD
