Wow Nagisa top3? I'm very surprised, especially with her being the most stagnant out of the old ace pairs (i used "old" because Shu's not here anymore T--T) and all the current Yuuri uprising, Riripon's steady but sure climb, Aayan's goripush, Fuuchan's BII ace attempt, Akarin's KHK/YT boost going on.

Also, Azusa out? I'm suprised yet not surprised at the same time lol. The surprising part is actually them dropping Azusa but keeping Chihiro. Chihii's in my NMB top5 tho so no complaint here lmao.

And 17-nin again??

Speculation is that the senbatsu is Kohaku-senbatsu focused which explains Aapon/Saepii/Azusa I guess. Doesn't explain the backrow but it could just be management finally trying the revolving door approach for the back girls.

I'm pretty disappointed at dropping Aapon and Saepii though. This decision was probably made before the SSK prelim results came out, but the timing just does not look good. Plus, they replaced them with Reichan and Shion? I kinda get Reichan since she's the second most pushed 5th gen, but Shion??? Is this a reward for doing the 19 hour Showroom? I don't dislike her, but I just think Aapon and especially Saepii have done anything to warrant even consider dropping them. Saepii seemed close to a breakthrough in succeeding Keicchi in the NMB48 Gakuen radio show and WEAR over the past year.
