She has just announced her graduation from middle school. I still remember the time when she auditioned for SKE48 as an elementary school girl and when she centered Ano koro no kimi wo mitsuketa as if they are something that just happened very recently. And now she is going to be a high school girl. Time really flies so fast.
I've received yet another very nice signed photocard from Mirei: Her message on the back is (more or less): "Thank You for getting my autograph! I'm really happy that you always apply for special events Thank You so much! DAVID always supports me a lot, so I have to do my best to repay it!! That's right, have you heard the new songs yet? Ai no Hologram and Kishibe no Shoujo yo are really great songs I'd love to hear your thoughts DAVID I'll be waiting for you! I love you so much! Mirei"

This news is definitely very shocking... I didn't expect this at all... o_o I noticed that it's been a while since the last time Mirei centered a single, and I thought that maybe management is giving her a break but I thought the push would return. Now I'm wondering if management had discussions with her for a while now and that this is why they didn't make her center since maybe her situation in the group wasn't sure... Although she still centered for Team E in the last single, she centered songs in the new Team E stage last year and she had a solo song for units... So yes... This whole thing is just very surprising because Mirei really looked like she had tons of motivation, a lot of maturity, she looked like she was really in control, very serious about being an idol. I'm wondering what happened to make her decide this... This is such a loss for SKE, they invested a lot in her and it gave good results. The fans like her... Once again, SKE loses one of their young aces at a young age. and it's getting more and more difficult for 48 groups nowadays to make a member get popular. They have to start all over again with other members ._. Personally I'm not usually in favor of pushing members at such a young age but Mirei was such a good performer and had a mature personality, she handled everything so well. But again things end like this :/ The fact that she leaves when she's like 15 years old and it's just now that she could have started doing her best as an idol... Sigh :/ This is one of the most surprising graduations of 48G in the recent years. It's been a while since I last thought "this is way too early for her to graduate" about a graduation. it's sad
