her 3rd solo song Inochi no Shinjitsu Musical (Ringo-uri to Kamemushi). I hope they make good MV for this.

 

who does she song with? I'm pretty sure this is the first time a male has sung with the 48/46 Group (excluding Kishidan, which was the entire band so it doesn't really count).

The song has a very Disney-like feel to it.

 

Sakamoto Kenji

I think he is same Sakamoto who play Simba of The Lion King stage musical. He is veteran stage actor. Her age around 40ish.

 

the song is kind of like those in musical plays. after glam rock now this, Ikuchan is widening her genre

It's like management trying to explore all aspect of Ikuchan. Piano, Rock, and now Musical. too bad there are no MV for her first and second solo song.

 

As i said when her second solo was aired...
Only a true artist can excel in various areas of the same area.

I find her sweet and adorable and pretty,a nd also charming, but I'm not sure if I really get the hype about her. At the moment fandom seems to be crazy about her, right? Is there a specific reason for that? Was she in a show or musical or...? *just-curious*

Kitagawa Kenji sang this slow song with Kojima Haruna. Forgot the name of the song but it was on Koko ga Rhodes and one of the AKB singles.

Erika's solo songs are sooo good but all so different. I legitly thought there was something wrong with my mp3 tags the first time I heard Teitaion no Kiss since I couldn't believe it was Erika. And now she does this! She makes me wish I had a super expensive sound system...
I also wonder what'll be next. A relaxing Hawaiian song to take advantage of her ukulele playing?

 

Tenchou still charting this week. 2nd week in a row rank on 9th place, with 368. So her total sales around 74k.

I wonder if Tencho will surpass Seijun no Otona first year sales. I hope it does.

Like Generic_User said, she always popular. She has interesting persona. Funny, talented, and unique. All in natural way. Like i said in 15th single thread, she's not the only one who have music talent. But her thing is fell so fresh, because she bring European classic style, mainly due her piano and opera singing. She is not best singer, but she have unique voice that distinguishable. Then she manage to provide to deliver various type music on her solo song.

Because of her talent and unique personality, she manage to participate HS sale game when fans more pay attention to older member. Before Ashurin breakthrough she was youngest member who could crack top 10 HS seller. After her come back from hiatus due academic issue, she become center of 10th single and her HS popularity grow steady from lower to upper top 10 on right behind Naachan-Maiyan and same bar with Nanamin-Misa-Manatsu.

She gain a lot momentum this year, start from her PB, her Levan Polka, her 2nd solo song, her Alice in Musicland cover, then her recent duet song with Sakamoto Kenji.

And i completely in love in her when she make her solo version of KimiKibou

 

Okay, she has some kickass songs, and I have a thing for both male and female idols that can play the piano or another instrument really really well ♥
