i am quite new to this akb48 though i am quite a fan of kasai tomomi

i hope she does really well and gets back into media senbatsu


has she been on any magazines lately
i know shes been on same jap shows this month which were quite funny though it seems like she still isnt getting much promotion

i hope people can help boost her popularity and tell me a bit more about her

i first noticed her in akbingo quite a funny show hahah

Welcome!! Yes, she's not one of the most popular members ... but she's got some fans here too ... and she deserves them, because Tomo-mi is one of the most gorgeous members...
PS: I wonder why Aki-P chose her to be 'the pregnant girl' in the long version of the GM5 PV... [think]

Must be because she looks like a naughty girlfriend, to begin with. Those sultry eyes are to be blamedthank for that.

But I still find it off seeing her pregnant in that PV.

But then wasn't yuko the pregnant girl for one of the other Sakura single maybe kasai will be famous after lol
Though recently she has been on. Few shows so maybe she's getting some promotion lol

She has been a senbatsu ever since she joined so I guess that's good news right lol

Yes, but they are different cases. Yuko's pregnancy made sense because it was (in a way) related to the story, but Kasai is pregnant and we don't know when, why, who... (well, perhaps the dialogue gives a clue, but I don't speak Japanese, so...) I even had to rub my eyes like 'isn't Tomo-mi pregnant?' [shock]

From what I understand with the GIVE ME FIVE! plot is that its set on story about a group of troubled teenagers that takes a special class.
Chiyuu is probably depicting teenage pregnancy. Aki-P likes to address the problems of society like what they did in Keibetsu Shiteita Aijou.

If that's true, he should have expanded on that idea a little more, because they way he addressed the problem this time was quite weird...

That's one of the problem of the PV. Its too centered on Acchan, only Yuko, Takamina and Yukirin are given some plot. All other girls seems to fade in the background.
They just add them to fill up the chairs.

Btw I saw that she looked pretty good in magazine photoshots

Some time ago it was rumoured that she was going to release one, but she ranked too low and her photobook was never released...

WTF? Too low? If she was ranked "too low", the photobook would easily solve that!

Yes, I agree, but it looks like they don't release a photobook to improve a member's rank, but to take advantage of a member who is already one of the most famous...I guess they think that if they released a photobook of a 'lesser member' all the members would demand one... :dunno:

Still is really annoying but with the sexy detective bimyo release do u think ppl in Japan will start voting for her I really do personally I dOnt see why some members get lots of promotion when they don't really deserve it

I remember that skit, it was definitely one of the funnier bimyo moments although i dont know if it would really have too much of an impact on her rankings. It was only one skit right? and it wasn't that memorable, as something like Honmayan. In my opinion, although its disappointing, she may likely to continue to fall ranking wise.
I would love a kasai photobook, but karles48 has a point^. if you look at all the girls who have had a photobook, yuko, acchan, mayuyu, rena, sasshi etc. it seems that the fan base is really strong for them already, and are not released in order to try and improve rankings. It would probably more likely that there will not be a kasai PB than there being one unfortunately.
