probably me being biased, I love the song.
I know Yukirin is well known for her ballads and people are maybe bored about it, but I still expect a wonderful song like 'Kazanbai' in this single.

She hasn't seemed to have done anything interesting in this song zzz
even the bridge of shortcake was far more interesting vocally than this. It's not very loud either.

I wonder what she will do with this in a live performance though. There's lots of ways for her to modify it i think.

Anyways, seems like she wrote the lyrics to the three coupling tracks as she said in her blog

As many have pointed out, there is the some meddlesomeness with the girls' voices on most CDs. Probably with what is called auto-tune. The voices will be a cross between kindergarten and Disney's chip monks. I bought some CDs but there will be no more for IMO it sounds awful so I don't play them.

Why this is I do not understand. Perhaps because Aki-p's mania for schoolgirls or because the buyers require. It probably will continue as long as the buyers do not care.

Based on the clips in the PV, the short movie looks to have a comedic side to it. Will be a fun watch, can't wait to see it. The director of the PV and movie is Irie Yu, well known for his SR Saitama Rapper movies~ You can see his style is highly reflected in the short movie based on the pv.

the fact that this song was make because of this zexy magazine's campaign,
i think its partially because recent "japan's population problem" which cause by late marrying n declining birth.

Actually that is not how Autotune works. If Autotune was used on the record, Yukirin would have a very distinctive synthetic sound. If you want an example look up Roger Troutman of Zapp & Roger fame. Or more recently T-Pain. There are more advanced methods of audio engineering that are available that make it hard to tell if they were used, without a direct comparison to a live performance. And are much better at balancing a singers voice. You don't need Autotune to tweak someones pitch higher or lower. Or to smooth out a voice if to sharp, or ect, ect.

Back to the single. I am really curious now about the B-sides. I want to hear if Yukirin has got any writing skills. Also I need another ballad like I need water to drink and air to breath! [nod] [nod] Something along the lines of Kazanbai or Chinmoku will always be welcome by me. [rock] :music: Some may tire of ballads from Yukirin. But for me, that sweet voice of hers is best suited for ballads. Plus, I am a sucker for the emotional ride that can only be delivered through songs like Kazanbai.

Kazanbai was sensational, I'd love another song like that.

Very intrigued about the B sides, I'm sure they'll be as good as they were last time. Her ballads are always beautiful and totally suit her voice, and while I think something a little fast paced and different isn't a bad idea, this is her solo single and she should do what she loves and what she's best at. I'm getting it and going to love it however it sounds

No, that's not how it works. Autotune is a standard used in almost all studio releases from any country to correct vocal inaccuracies. The way t-pain uses autotune with the synthesizing effect is one way for autotune to be utilized but NOT all the ways it can be used. Autotune has a much HUGER function than to just distort your voice in a way that isn't possible. But, we gotta be thankful to t-pain cause he tricked all of america to believing autotune is used to make robot noises [party]
If you want to know what is autotuned, you can go listen to pretty much any song on any single/album

There's a bunch of huge debates over autotune. Although many people adore artists like perfume or Capsule who use autotunes to enhance their artistic expression, there are also many artists who have inadequate vocal ability who use autotune as a crutch to make themselves sound better than what they actually do by fixing off-key errors and changing the pitch.

She looks really pretty~ Gah, I want the CD so bad (just for the cover, if not for the song). The song is OK. Her voice is nice, so she doesn't sound bad solo. [blush]

It's a sweet, pleasant song, but a little dull. I do like it, but not as much as I loved Shortcake. Still pre-ordered the single though...we're a household of Yukirin supporters.
