I'm happy I got to see her one last time at the Theater on my visit to Osaka on Monday of last week. I've always had a lot of affection for her as it was her who got me addicted to idol HS at my very first event back in 2016 - she shouted "I LOVE YOUUUUUUUU" while holding tightly onto one of my hands while staff-san was trying to pull me away with my other. Quite a tug of war!

 

watched her announcement on the livestream and while there were certainly tears there was also the sense that she was ready for her next challenge. just a feeling I had during watching, there was no interruption and announcement, instead mc kojirin finished her closing comments and then announced "uuka has something to say."

uuka has been a member for some time now (over 10 years! she debuted at age 14).
