Wow Avex? Isn't that the leading record label in Japan? I'm so happy for her, this is great news! The first time I felt more relaxed about her future career

Good news for Ricchan. She gets a solid agency with the backing of one of the major labels in Japan. Hopefully they can get her lots of good work.

 

I knew she could do it. She is too talented to be not picked up by a good labels.

Actually I am a bit angry with AKS arrangement.
Ota pro is best choice for Ricchan, AKS just sell her to their alliance AVEX
and the announcement is more worse, why don't they announce it on upcoming SSA?
Why do they need to announce like this for THE MUSIC DAY and Rena?!

But SSA will be filled with AKB fans. Isn't it better for her to be promoted on open television? AKB fans already know her, she needs to be known among the general public now. I think it's good.

 

Somehow you are right, TV is better than fans event.
But you know, if AKS announces it on THE MUSIC DAY, it is good.
But now, they announces it before THE MUSIC DAY, it just use Ricchan to promote THE MUSIC DAY and Rena.

 

Ah yeah, I thought they were mentioning it in the program. Oh well, at least she got plenty of screen time.

Very enjoyable performances It makes me wonder if exactly the two of them performing "Avocado Janeshi" back in December was just by chance. I mean, they are a weird pairing, plus the difference in their height is kinda funny to me lol.

They have Koyukii, Fujimoto Kaede and Sawajiri Erika among their ranks. Currently no other AKB girls but they have other idol groups under contract. It's a solid agency, I'm sure they'll do good for her. Being the only ex-AKB member probably means that they won't rely on that connection very much which is in line with Ricchan's wishes. Also, many of their clients use some form of social media so Ricchan is probably going to get a twitter or blog at least.

 

Avex is a big agency,, although AKS sell her to AVEX but they already provide the best option,, SKE48 under Avex, and Churi (top SKE member) also under Avex

It's good news she is not signed with an agency that has strong ties with AKB.

What she wants is to build on her existing fame but also differentiate herself from the idol world.

So far no former AKB member made it as a regular artist.

Maeda and Tomomi have average success it looks like and it's too eatly to tell for Yuko.

They have both musicians and actors. But given her statements, I assume she'll be focussing on acting.
