I'm surprised she's so unpopular among the fans considering the management pushes her quite a bit..

Yui-pon started her blog post today saying that she was playing the new Nogizaka46 smartphone game Nogikoi ("Nogi Love") on the train and missed her stop, going six stops too far! The game is for iPhone and Android, but is only available to Japanese accounts. Here's an English description of the game.

 

Yui's blog is one of the best. Her basic mildness and good nature shine through. Today, she talks about the new members coming, and says that they are bringing more fun, but also probably some conflict. Nevertheless, it is one group of 32, and every member, new and old, is an essential part of Keyakizaka46.

Other blogs show more apprehension, or just say this will make them work harder. Yui is one of the members who is more welcoming. Ozeki is another.

 

In her blog today, Yui-pon says she was filling the bathtub but it never seemed to fill. What was going on? She discovered that the water flowing in had pushed the plug askew. She put it back in place, but it did it again. Then she put something on it to weigh it down and all was well.

For her second handshake session in Nagoya Sunday, she wore something she said definitely made her look 16 (which she is, although she is often mistaken as being older):



She adds at the end of the piece that she will definitely not say who her oshimen is in the Nogikoi game.

I think Pon has a great future. When Neru was asked in an interview which other member she would like to be, she answered Kobayashi Yui, saying she was an excellent singer, danced well, had a good figure -- could do just about anything.
