i kept hoping for her name to be called in the ug and it did and i just screamed out loud!
yes, it's far from her senbatsu goal, but that climb though. from last year ng to ug and even from na from prelims to ug for final result, it's crazy!

let's take her to the senbatsu next year! wish mako the greatest year ahead, she's 18th now so there should be a lot more chances and challenges to take on!
i'm so proud of her and her oshi! (still waiting for her ytd's g+ trans and her speech trans, thank you)

 

I'm happy for her! Being senbatsu is kinda unrreallystic by the moment but she ranked amazingly

Mako jumped from #36 to #26, i know that she had been totally nervous before her name was called
But Mako only received abt 5000 more votes this year. She has been giving so many chances from staffs but her wotas, that's like they dont care much abt SSK. See how serious HKT and SKE wotas are each SSK

I am Kojimako Mako also known as Kojimako from AKB48's Team 4.

To everyone who has voted for me, to everyone who has supported me up until today, thank you very much.

Because I was out of ranking in this year's general election preliminary report,

despite having received many chances during the past year,

'I can't stay in this place!', 'I can't just not rank!'

I was under a lot of pressure,

but my fans understood this,

they came to handshake with me for example and gave me energy,

I felt the support from so many people,

'I am really so happy'

that's what I thought very strongly during this year's general election.


And another thing that I have thought, having participated in this election,

what is important, is not only the vote count or the rank,

but after the general election is over,

that the fans feel 'we did it, didn't we'

I think that's what's most important.


My goal for this year's general election was to get into senbatsu,

but I climbed as high as rank #26

and thanks to this, together with my fans, we were able to smile together,

I really think that this was a happy general election for us.


And my fans are my pride.

And in order for my fans to feel the same,

in order for them to be able to be proud of oshiing Kojimako

I want to continue to give everything I got to become a person who is deserving of such pride,

For the senbatsu general election I received the rank number 26

To all the people who have been supporting me until today
thank you so much。

My goal was to enter senbatsu
but I climbed 10 ranks and came from out-of-ranking。

And、just as I said in my speech
it's not just about the number of votes or the rank！

That we can smile together and say 'we did it together'
that's what it's about。

And the bond and love that is born out of that。

With that, I think I have found the real reason
of why the general election exists！

Heading towards a common goal together
the members and fans become one and run together。

Through this year's general election
I think I have come to like the general election
if only just a bit◡̈⃝⃝⃝⃝⃝⃝⃝⃝✩*


I am really glad that
we haven't given up and fought together！✨


But、I intend to fight together with you much much more！

My goal for next year is of course to enter senbatsu！

Sidenote, I just saw the pictures of Mujack. Naanya was partnered with Mion. This was obliviously filmed before the senbatsu so is it evidence of a halt on Mako? If not then why the sudden switch from Kojimako to Mion?

At least her rank of 26 is a message to management to keep pushing Kojimako.

Miion and Naanya come from the same 15th gen, i think that's why Mako didnt appear in this ep.
Miion is being given many push from staffs, Naanya too but it seems that Miion and her wotas are doing better.
Anw our Mako ranked #26 :> we have the strong hope that her push will be continued :3

Rena has startled a wild Kojimako!
Rena has fainted.

 

The reason was that Takamina was allowed to chose with whom she wanted to film that episode. It was entirely Takamina's decision.

 

While i don't think that was a halt on mako, like i said earlier here i do feel like miion is her rival nowadays (compared to naanya or anyone else) that no one doesn't realized yet hehe the #26 rank is really, really great though.

My, My. That's mako in a nutshell right there! Cute, genki, somewhat didn't know what to do with herself and overall dork

 

I'm very proud that her rank increased.. even though I hoped she got undergirls centre this year
