What's the point of resurrection? Not like Last Idol is a valuable brand or something. Why don't just start with a clean slate?
This Yuki person must be close to Akimoto. Does this group tie to Asahi?

Not surprised they are angry. I really liked Last Idol, can't see the sense in stopping them last year and then restarting this year with a completely new line up

The only sense I can make out of this is Last Idol grew too big and too wild. Neither any single member appeared to be a promising star. Thus, a reset to mere 7 members.

Regardless, Imma burn someone's house if I were a member.

It's a a lazy move to try to build some hype from the get go, by attracting former fans attention. (And limiting spending money with the creation/ registering work)
Not sure this strategy can have the expected effect, I see quite some negativity on social medias, which is undesrstandable seeing how the original ended.
Also It's going to be tough to recreate what made Last Idol's appeal after the 3rd season, with only 7 members.

Lol. What hype did you talk about? How many former fans did the group have when it disbanded for not popular in the first place? Mere "some" negativity? The group did not even have enough former fans to tweet 10k+ curses on Akimoto? A Sakamichi adjacent or reiwa Onyanko Club will create far better buzz.

How much could trademark registration be? 50k yen? If the company is so cheapskate that it has to cut this budget, how can it operate an idol group which requires some millions yearly to run?

Last Idol format revolved around big pool of members. To relaunch with mere 7 members is like buying A&W brand and stop selling root beer.

Last Idol was operated clearly without efficiency concern. They made members learnt Bollywood dance for over 1 month to never use it (because the choreographer did not know Bollywood dance). They made members learnt kendo for 2 months(?) just to swing katana few times? (2 weeks should do seriously.) The list went on and on. To limit the member number to 7 suggested they acknowledged the budget management mistake.

Side note: Last Idol Thailand has mad no profit but deficit (over 1m USD) and rumored to be revamped into something more American pop.

Why should I? What an absurd question. Must I be voice trainer to criticize if someone sing out of tune?

What is economical about making an idol learning a move or 2 for 2 month? The most logical way was to treat the sword fight scene as dance choreography.

It'sas absurd as you who keep beating a dead horse.
    It won't raise.

Beside that, it appears you didn't get exactly the goal of all these contests.

    Last Idol Thailand announced disbanding

After several months of inactivity, official Facebook account of the group Last Idol Thailand posted that the group would release its last single on September 16 and be officially disbanded on November 19.

    https://www.facebook.com/100037539442690/posts/1056176768976961/?mibextid=cr9u03

Post disbandment, members will stay in Rabbit Moon, to which they have been unofficially transferred for months. The disbandment will officially stamp the transfer.

Last Idol Thailand debuted under Last Idol (Thailand) Co.Ltd, which is the ambitious joint venture of 4 parties, M Picture, Draconic, Search Entertainment and T&B Media.

Rabbit Moon is totally a subsidiary of T&B Media. As of now, Last Idol Thailand is the sole artist of this talent management agency but the agency held its first audition in May.

Such a shame, I quite liked the group. Their version of Bandwagon still gets streamed a lot by me
