I wonder how the 2nd gen will fair in the elections. How will they get fans?

Are they hoping that they'll find a gem that will be super popular with the masses from the get go? Send the girls to different jobs like acting or hosting, I bet some of them will shine. Since they're partnered with Showtime, a guest host gig can probably work. Sela and Ruth seem to be good hosts/MCs so I can see that working.

Hey guys! I've been wondering why the audition period was so short and secretive (compared to the first one), until I realized:

"Maybe some of the girls that dropped out of the 1st Gen Audition signified they want to come back?"

Is this theory possible? Or am I just overthinking here?

If I have to guess, I think the management really didn't want the final result of the 1st gen audition. Like they probably do not like having those many unpolished girl-next-door who were not at par with the usual talent agency standard but rather handpicked by fans.

If it weren't for the backlash they got after saying the challengers can replace some of the the remaining ori48 that time, for sure they would have pushed through with it.

So now for the 2nd gen, expect more members like Ran and Colleen, girls who are within the usual standard of what's pretty in Philippine showbiz.

Whether it's a good thing to have more agency backed talents or not would be up to the fans then. We'll see.

I would rather say they are considered 1.5 - all the challengers should be.

 

There's a lot of pretty and intesting girls not all have them have their campaign videos up. But based in their pictures, abbigail ”gail" takes it for me, shes giving me tsundere vibes like brei but shes probably short like around sheki's height. There's also another japanese candidate it seems, miho hoshino
