Mogi: I think it was because I was selected that I was given this opportunity. Not only me, but everyone had been working hard for a long time in the 10 years before that.　I think it's just a matter of whether or not you happen to have the right timing to be seen and noticed. In my case, with the start of YouTube, I had more opportunities to be discovered and selected... and so on... It's not like I'm creating a wave by myself, but it's a wave that has been created by a combination of different timings, and now I'm like, 'I've got to ride it! I feel like I have no choice but to ride it.

You felt a lot of things as a result of being selected for the first time.

Mogi: Everything is new and fresh, and I'm still in a happy and enjoyable state. I'm not getting carried away!　I've been doing this for more than 10 years and I know the reality, so I'm careful about things like making sure I greet people properly, which is a very small thing. The staff think of and make costumes for me, and I am grateful for every single thing they do for me.

She has also appeared in swimwear gravure and on stage, making the most of her nice body, but now that she has moved to a new agency, it seems that her future activities will not be limited to her AKB activities, but will expand into multiple areas.

Mogi: I want to do my best in all the jobs I've been given, like getting selected in my 11th year, or maybe there's still some dormant potential!　(laughs). I want to know the ocean, or rather, I want to explore the possibilities of the 12th year!　I don't mind being swept away by the ocean. I'm sure I can put my body on the line, and even though I'm blonde and look like this, I can do it properly and hard!

In an appearance on NTV's 'Ueda to Onna ga Barkaru Yoru' in September last year, Mogi left her mark by teasing her senior colleague Takahashi Minami (31), showing that she has good talk skills.

Mogi: I've been working hard on my speaking recently. The response I got when I appeared with Takamina was amazing. I also really like radio, and I want to chat with comedians and learn a lot.

To begin with, I joined AKB48 in the 13th term, after having tried and failed many times since the 10th term audition...

Mogi and Erii appeared in a serie of 4 videos on the YouTube channel "DELISH KITCHEN" where they cooked 4 different dishes! Mogi was really nice in this, very natural and fun, as usual! She seems to be pretty good at cooking. For the last video, they were alone without the instructor. At the end, they said that this was the first time that they had a job together (with only the two of them) and that it made them become closer (they say this at the very end of the last video), that's cute ^^ well Mogi will be graduating soon... >.< but yes.
