Yeah. Mizuki, Kanon and Erina have e-Hello DVDs, Riho is going to get (a non e-Hello) solo DVD. So she is the first 9th gen member who gets her own solo DVD (and probably PB too).

the PB is going to be released by Wanibooks in August too C:
I'm really excited for Riho, and definitely getting both...
she's my favorite member in Momusu and #2 in all H!P after all > U <

  3. Well she's graduating soon so there's some good news for you :)
I'm an Ai fan but 10 year is WAY TO LONG for my liking. If they were going to keep members for that long the should've just kept the 4th Gen, Yuko, Mikitty and Abe-san :)
I completely agree with everything you said <3

Well It seems harsh to say it but alot of the older girls (from Aika upwards) really all need to be moved on in the near future so that they can truly rebuild and hopeful learn the lessons from past mistakes. Dunno if you know the Up-front (or Up-Up now) girls at all but those are the eggs who I kinda thing should be the ones in MM with the 9th gens now but that was MM killing off it's own talent....

Still got half a mind on the thought that S/milage, now they are having auditions, may actually become the 'new' Morning Musume....

Agree. I've always wondered why they have Berryz and Cute because they don't promote them when new members are needed...

I'm watching some old Utaban episodes and it was really great. I like Michishige the most, she is very funny in variety shows even thought her remarks on her seniors shocked me a lot when I heard her for the first tile in a London heart show.
I watch a lot of korean shows and I wasn't expecting a young idol to be this mean on a show. After a while, I find it very funny and a lot of MC (Music fighter, Utaban etc.) have fun attacking her.

Marippe has cut her hair, and the style reminds me of Mariko-sama.Mari-san was one of the first Idols I found out about in her early days in Morning Musume. The fact I am a Wota now,and support AKB/SND/NMB48,Momoclo Z,TokyoGilrsStyle,Perfume, and so many more is all due to watching Yaguchi Mari,Nono and Aibon on shows like Utaban.

What I love about Yaguchi Mari is she has a timeless quality, she has the same smile, energy, and youthful looks I first saw years ago.I guess she is for me a true Idol [angel]

I really dislike this song. It's Ai/Reina for one last friggin hurrah. Then it's going to be Riho/Reina from then on. A previous comment said they wanted all the older girls to move on. I agree. Aika doesn't fit in and NEVER did. The only one I'd like to see stay is Sayu. Even though Gaki is my fave. 10 years is way too long to be in an idol group. Move on!

Sad...but true... Now that even AKB48 is singing Momusu-ish songs they should take advantage of it... [hehe]

^ I agree. Also, after that long in an idol group, how on earth are you ever going to define yourself as anything else? I liked Momusu 2007 and before. After Yossi and Miki left it just became really blah. I'm still following them, but Berryz are much, much better, and H!P should really be putting all their money into them.

They won't though. Because the management over at H!P are ridiculously bad. So, so unprofessional. Watching MM PV's next to AKB ones are just embarassing. They look so bad.

It is kinda unfair to compleatly compair AKB's PV to MM's, it is clear that AKB has much much more of a budget.

I'm sad that it is a Ai Reina lead again but I've long since come to tearms with it. The Idol worls is unfair.
Just like Sayaka isn't gonna be in senbatsu anymore (*sigh*) the management isn't gonna suddenly stop putting Reina up front.

I agree with you on Aika though, frankly she is going nowhere fast. And with all her foot problems she should just move on.

But on the music front I think MM is fine, the new song is good imo! MM are just not in the vouge right now. But I think there time will come again.

I don't agree. AKB's PVs have always been better than MM's. Besides, it's often a matter of imagination. PVs like Aitakatta, Sakura no Shiori, Boku dake no value....they are wonderful (IMHO, of course) How much did they cost? just the bus ride and little more (and that applies to most of their PVs)... On the other side Tsunku and Co have been always trying to hide the girls from the fans so most of their PVs are indoor (and perhaps they are even more expensive than AKB's)

For ponytail they went to Guam, and lately their PVs have been somewhat more stuff involved probably costing in more money.
Money wise AKB needs to sell lots of their singles and albums to survive, they have to pay at least 12 idols (at least) for every PV produced VS. MMs 8-9 people in every single, MM could sell the numbers that they are selling for a while. It probably takes to film a single song costing more money. They are making enough money to support and expand empire, but how many do they need sell at a minimum to cover all costs?

Ponytail, RIVER or Beginner are exceptions, not rules (besides, I wouldn't be surprised if the people at Guam had paid some money to get their island promoted)

No.... AKB PVs definitely cost more than MMs. Take any recent PV and just look at what they've bought:

Sakura no Shiori - Renting yukata, making uniforms, and busing around 48 girls. Hiring a famous director.
    Ponytail to Shushu - Guam.
Heavy Rotation - Three costume sets and three sets made. Famous director hired.
Beginner - CG. 2 1/2 costume sets made. Famous director hired.
    Chance no Junban - Horse.
Sakura Ki ni Narou - Rented school grounds. Costumes. Bused 5 girls around. Possibly famous director hired?
Everyday, Kachuusha - Guam. Rented boat. Used multiple settings. Possibly famous director hired?

Not saying either group is better for PVs (they're too different), but AKB pays much, much more them. It costs very little to rent out a studio and possibly a green screen and make a backdrop.

One also has to realize that "AKB48" also includes UG/TG/DIVA/Mint/random senbatsu songs, so those might also have to be included.

Ok, AKB48 moves a lot of money (and a lot of members) and they spend a lot of money, agree. But, apart from Guam (and perhaps they even got some money because of the promotion of the island, why not?) and the famous directors, I don't think they spent a lot of money in the rest. However, and this is just my opinion, my point is that AKB's PVs have been ALWAYS better than MM's. Just take the first eight PVs...
    Sakura no hanabira tachi
    Skirt, Hirari
    Aitakatta
    Seifuku ga jama wo suru
    Keibetsu shiteita aijou
    BINGO!
    Boku no taiyou
    Yuuhi wo miteiru ka?
The uniforms, the school, some bicycles, a warehouse...no famous directors, special effects, or amazing wardrove, but the still are far better (again, IMHO) than most of MM's PV (even the latest ones)
Btw: delete 'Skirt, Hirari' from my statement, please...
