[MOVIE] Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Ono Erena)

Great movie, i am in love with Actress who act Miho and Rena

I am going to trust your word and give the movie a go 8D

Then again, I get amused at Ju-on and I fell asleep watching The Ring XD

 

^ In that case, it won't horrify you at all. Brave one you are B-) Anime's story is more fleshed out and scary, movie is not.

In fact, the moment when Rena says "uso da" is laughable, when in the anime it was quite cool.

But a second movie's coming out - might be better. There are some genuinely creepy/scary moment in the series, and if they can pull it off well in live action, that'd be good. At least the trailers have been looking better than the first movie.

 

I watched the Anime Series (Higurashi + Kai + Rei OVA 1) after I watched the Movie. The Movie is worse than the Anime but I will watch the next movie because of Ono.

 

I did not understand the last part of the movie....
who really is oyashiro-sama?....

This question is answered in the later arcs, since the first movie was one of the "question" arcs. It's actually a really intriguing and complex plotline, so...I won't spoil it for you here. Not sure which arc the second movie is going to be about though.

Yay, i finally able to understand the whole movie.... i know where is Satoshi, he not dead yet

 

Finally, finally got around to watching the first one. Kind of slow at the beginning, and while it's not entirely frightening, it's kind of freaky. I feel like I have to check pastries for needles before I bite into them after watching it. XD;

Looking forward to the next one. Yay for more Erepyon screen time.
