That's so fast!
Is this rushed or normal? I'm anxious that one top member would graduate soon.
I don't even anticipate it yet, since Nigemizu is still fresh.

This is going to be the most boring senbatsu announcement ever lol. We already know who's in and who's center.

 

They at least broke the Nanase-Maiyan symmetry, that's quite long, since Imahana, Nanase-Maiyan's formation is always in symmetry.

 

Let me guess. If Maiyan will graduate early next year, they will give her solo center for Summer. But if she decide to stay longer, they will give it to someone else, and do the Maiyan/Naachan W-center all over again the following single.

Anyway this episode (and the next one) really enjoyable. Surprised to see Himetan. She made a good decision to not participate (and graduate already) on the next single

 

Yup it's kinda boring. But, maybe they still have a surprise to do another 3rd gen airdrop.

 

Still it's a surprise that they do it so soon. Are they (=management) somewhat disappointed in Nigemizu sales? Or actually encouraged by it and want to capitalize on it? Or are there any main members graduating soon and they want to cram as many singles as possible while these members are still there?

BTW, how's Nigemizu doing, sales wise?

 

They would have organized the song months ago maybe even the same time as 18th single. Most likely when the members were casted to be in Asahinagu movie and nogizaka will be doing the theme song.

Nigemizu is doing fine, will probably reach 1M 2 weeks earlier then Influencer.
This only reason this is happening so fast is because of the movie.
Sony is backing the movie with some serious money, so they are trying to get as much as they can.

 

Apparently they discussed it before in the General Thread...

They use the momentum along with Asahinagu. Maybe it's not meant to be a single beforehand...

 

Probably they think the song can be mainstream hit.therefore make it as A-side rather than b-side.

Nigemizu isnt dissaponting. It's keep breaking new sales record after first day sales. A-side it self not promoted as much as Hadasama, but it's manage to rank higher digital chart. It's pretty clear to say that Nigemizu doing better than other summer single like Hashire Bicycle, Natsu no Free and Easy, and Taiyou Knock.

If Iku present, then senbatsu announcement must be taped on late July or early August.

Lets just say that this is an anomaly in the all single that being released. The management just want to push the movie along with single to increase sale more. Maybe they got what they want for the movie promotion and the money. but its totally collapsing the flow in the previous single. ignoring the sankisei rising in the previous single and current popularity. the unders and himetan dont have a chance in this single anymore. They think they can restart the flow in the 20th single so this should be tributed to the Asahinagu promotional

The most boring Senbatsu too. Way to let Yoda and the 3rd generation be forgotten again. Should have at least kept her in the Senbatsu.
