yeah, Kang Damin was eliminated at rank 62. I was rooting for her because I thought she was cute and ranked A. Like most talented girls who were eliminated early, she didn't get to have that much screen time. I think a lot of people didn't even know that she was the center for the Love Whisper group because obviously Nako took over the spotlight with the high note part.

She also shared a thank you message after her elimination.

 

I liked how the episode was laid out. Silly things like the "horror" mirror, the pre-regrading early morning exercising with the girls hiding their non-make up faces, the dance competition, and the best visual member( is that right?) in between the ranking announcements. I thought it was a nice way to break it up. Of course in true reality TV fashion, they would end it with "here's the winner...after this commercial!"

I'm terrible and after five episodes, haven't really learned to put names to faces for the Korean trainees. I'm curious to know though who the girl who flexed and showed off her abs was.

Also, I was a little disappointed that it was make up in those boxes, not donuts/food of some sort that Moe won for her class.

 

Wasn't that Alex Christine? She already got eliminated.

 

I know that in season 1 ep 6 the top 12 got new practice shoes as a reward. Didn't arrive at that part for s2.
Are we getting something like that for p48?

Also saw some matome thread saying that the Koreans were pretty salty about the ranking result and complaining how the Japanese girls rank so high and stuff. Then the Japanese netizens were like you guys voted for them lol

 

the intermezzos were nice but I found the episode extremely tedious. Nothing changed and the constant "I think it's Juri!" "No, it's Mako!" "Maybe Hitomi?!" was as annoying as ever. Not even talking about the "dramatic" pauses etc. I stopped after the first batch then just skipped through it later. And I'm gonna stop watching it live anyway because I always manage to watch the 150 minutes in 30-40 minutes from the uploads lol.

 

Thanks for the reply. Sad...I was rooting for some of them. I guess more people remember BYJ said Misaki is pretty than Damin centering it. I hope she debut soon with other group.

I went back to rewatch Lan Cable Friends and Standby I.O.I

and now I'm more excited for the reality shows than I am for the debut ;-; I can already imagine Sakura playing games in their dorm while Wonyoung and Yujin are running around screaming in the background.

On another note, I hope they change dorms. They really should use two apartments like Wanna One especially since I don't want the girls to reuse Wanna One's old dorm. I mean I know the dorm is kinda special since every produce group used it but still.....plus I'll constantly be reminded of I.O.I ;-;

 

i want heechul to host whatever variety show the final lineup gets (hopefully p48bingo)

 

How about bring them to AKBingo first and do muchaburi dodgeball. Bring the eliminated 48G ones as their opponents, and let them do the real guess-in-box, strange cuisine, and iki sumo.
If that happen, I hope Choi Yena and Ahn Yujin will be there.

lol good idea, i miss watching muchaburi dodgeball. do they still show it on akbingo these days? i hvnt watched bingo for many months lol. would love to see them play some games involving a flour/whipped cream bomb to the face, or the fart box (lol that game with yukirin is unforgettable ) would love to see choi yena on akbingo!

 

I hope Ikumin makes a comeback next week and is going to replaces Jurina's spot. I thought she would fit in this concept

 

The airport videos looks so crazy now, especially the long shot views. They're getting the full Kpop paparazzi treatment. Thankfully, there's a tremendous amount of security to make everything go smoothly.

 

I voted for about three days or so lol then they realised foreigners figured out how to vote and put a location restriction on GMarket ._. I hadn't really picked my favourites at that point really so I only voted for some Japanese girls I like and Korean trainees I find really pretty (Wonyoung and Goeun) and Kaeun.

Interestingly, in the first three teams the losing performer group had more members go through than in the winning team. For Peek-a-Boo Team 1 I still counted Jurina because she would have ranked, but with her gone it would be 66.6% instead of 83.3%
