I'm not sure she inherited the boss role from Nanamin, but give it a few more oneesan graduations and she'll definitely be the boss of Nogizaka. (For the record, I really am sure. Asuka is BOSS. Banzai! \o/ Banzai! \o/ Banzai! \o/)

I got to watch kimi oi movie on it premiere date last night. I can say that Asuka did a good job as a new actress although she sometimes sounded a little monotonous. The movie itself was great and the ending was so sad. Now I can't stop repeating its theme song.

I recommend you all to watch it at the theatre if it will be screened in your country.

Until when will it be screened in Japan? I will be there next week, might as well go to the theatre.

 

It just started screening yesterday and I think usually movie in Japan will have 1 month screening period, more for the more popular one, so you will definitely get to watch it. But you must check first which theatre you are going because it will not be screened in all theatre.

One of my all time favourite classic video (with english subs). It shows the soft and sensitive side of her. Why she is deeply loved by fans... fans who love her unconditionally and endlessly. I think perhaps we can find some answers here... She captures hearts.

I just returned from the theater having watched Ano koro, kimi wo oikaketa. If you are into love themed movies with a slow pace, this movie is for you.

I went into it without knowing much about it. I haven't seen the original, nor did I read a synopsis. Although I missed a lot because some dialogs went too fast for my comprehension, it wasn't hard to understand the gist of the story. A beautiful yet sad story, with a message that I wholeheartedly agree with.

As for Miss Saito Asuka, she did it well. It was especially in the second half of the story I realized I wasn't looking at Asuka from Nogizaka46, but at Mana Hayase. Although I think the characteristics of Mana resemble that of the Asuka we know and love, she managed to make it her own. Honestly, it was better than I expected.

The things that broke the immersion for me at times are the sometimes strange English errors, and the blatant Mouse product placement. But those are just small complaints. I am glad I chose to see it.

i dont believe it though. right now of course she feels really good and enjoying her life in nogi..but probably when she hit the peak (and need lovelife), she probably grad in two years from now..

 

I'd like to see her in nogi for 10 years more but i think she will stay at least for 3-4 more years only. She's the next ace's anyway
