Sakurazaka46 overseas performances (concerts, showcases)

Nice video, I've been hoping they would do something like that. It looks like their sightseeing day was on the Friday (July 14th), the French National Day, as the Champs-Élysées was closed to traffic and the members spotted the flypast by the Patrouille de France aerobatic display team.

At 01:19:56 when discussing any effects the riots had had on the event, one of the organisers said the following (hopefully my French transcription is correct):

My translation of that is "Sakurazaka46 almost cancelled, we spent some time reassuring them that France wasn't a country at war." (@lionel90 could you please confirm that?)

I wonder what happen to Captain, Kobayashi and Onuma.
Also, does Karin-chan have similar height as Ten-chan, currently (3:46)? Its funny that she tried to squeeze and negotiate with MC about her height in SokoSaku before, now she is among the tallest members.

 

Fantastic video. Exactly what I wanted to see from their trip to Paris. Members acting a bit less like idols and more as tourists. Guard was down and that's what's fun to watch.

 

How many days were they in Paris ?

 

They all had jobs that meant they couldn't take the same flight as the others, who all left on Thursday morning/afternoon Japan time I'm guessing. Kobayashi with stage play rehearsals, and Onuma and Matsuda both have morning show commitments which meant that they couldn't go with the others.

I assume 2 days since Hono on the 17th (which was a Monday) said she was back in Japan on her mobame. So I think their flight back was on the Sunday

 

Rina did get to do some sightseeing in Paris and posted some photos in her blog including this 2-shot with Tenchan at the Arc de Triomphe:

All three of them did, at least you see Matsuri and Akiho in the recent short on the group's second channel. And Kobayashi posted some pics with her fellow 1st gen members on her instagram too.

Nice to see the girls have fun in Paris. Reminds me of the AKB prank videos in Guam. Yuipon, Matsuri and Akiho were missing on the video. Hopefully they also enjoyed their time.

I assume that after the 7th single is out, once the 3rd gen is fully integrated (for instance, no more distinct uniforms for the 3rd gen), they will be allowed to participate in overseas events. I'm sure they wished they could have gone to Paris or Malaysia too.
