I think you got the reason wrong. I didn't select her (she's on the ~meh level for me), but the reasons why people might've selected her are different. Actually it's quite the opposite of your assumption. A lot of people dislike her because they think she tries to get too much attention (with the whole crying from first episode and acting dumb). Also, a lot of people disagreed with her push. To add more, a lot of people simply don't like her appearence (of course appearence is subjective).

Also, I have to comment on something else : "dislike" is a vague term. Some people interpret the term lightly (not being interested in a member), some more strongly (hating everything about someone). So, don't think too much about it.
Also, a personal opinon : The fans on here tend to be more PC and progressive than most other nogi fandoms (especially japanese). People on here seem like they simply can't believe that someone might dislike a member (enough to want her out of the group) just because of looks, voice etc, which is certainly the case for a lot of fans. Polls like these are good because they make a "s48 survey", but to anyone reading this, please don't think about them in a general fandom way, cause it doesn't work that way

 

Imagine a World Cup group with Brazil, Germany, Italy and France together. That’s what group B looks like to me. I was so scared that had to vote only for Miona because I didn’t wanna give vote to anyone else that may eliminate her from the game .

 

I'm trying to get Matsumura to stay in, but unfortunately, looks like this is the end for her. At least Ikuta is still in the running.

Also I guess Momoko is out of this. Too bad.

 

Ikuta should do well considering she's usually the top ranked Nogizaka member. But you never know...

 

Do you know Ikuta is one of the top members in Nogi?

 

I didn't really get into Nogizaka until recently (Ikuta is my favorite member so far), so while I did know she was popular, I thought people like Matsumura and Shiraishi would be above her. Is she more popular than them?

 

On this forum (or at least according to @kanjo's various polls), Ikuta is perhaps the most favorite Nogi member consistently garnering lots of votes. For the current Sakamichi Cup, it'll depend upon the matchups especially going against the favorites in Keyaki-chan. Hinata-chans feel like they're overmatched. But who knows?

 

I can actually see Ikuchan winning this.

 

Oof, Group D was a rough one for me. Can't wait to see the results, though.

 

Ikuchan has literally always been the most popular member among international fans. Literally since Nogi debuted.

 

Just a small suggestion to make it a bit more interesting. Try to fit the matchup schedule to the champions league schedule for the round of 8 onward, just for the fun of it. Just a suggestion though

 

Seems to me like there are more Keyaki fans participating. If I'm right then I can see Yuuka winning this.

 

These two swing states are insanely close. I wonder if Dems can defeat GOP here.
