Her graduation anouncement speech on the NMB48 blog:

I, Shibuya Nagisa, am graduating from NMB48.

I have been active for about 11 years and I have never wanted to graduate from NMB48 myself. The reason is simple: I really enjoyed every day at NMB48 and loved NMB48. Of course, that hasn't changed.

Thanks to NMB48, I have been given many opportunities and met many co-stars whom I respect and admire.

In my eyes, everyone I see, regardless of age, has a sparkling heart and I feel empowered just by meeting them. Seeing you all, I also thought that you are shining because you are doing everything you can to make things fun and exciting, and I was inspired to live honestly and innocently in my own heart.

And this year, to my delight, I was able to work in acting, a dream I have secretly held for a long time. Acting should be difficult and full of things I can't do, but every day my heart was so happy and excited. At the same time, I strongly felt that I wanted to experience and study a lot more and grow in this place.

I have no idea what the future holds, but just imagining the future and what it would be like to work in acting makes me shiver with excitement, which is the same feeling I had when I joined NMB48.
I also want to challenge myself with all my might and honesty when and where my heart strikes me! That's what I thought.

Another thing I felt after being an idol is that being an idol is great. I am convinced that I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for NMB48, and I realise that there are many things I'm allowed to do because I'm an idol, and I can't thank them enough.
But on the other hand, there are also things that I can't do because I'm an idol.

I will be 27 years old this year.
There are still many things I want to challenge myself with, such as the world I don't know and things I have never experienced before. And now that I have stepped out of the environment that has been protecting me, I feel and know all the things that I am not ready to do, and I strongly want to grow as a person.
So I want to become a person who can work and interact with people in a sparkling way like the people I admire.

And the time I have spent and will continue to spend in NMB48 and the members and staff I have met because I joined NMB48, the fans and everyone I have met are truly miracles, and I am proud of myself for having applied for the NMB48 audition. From the bottom of my heart, I'm really happy to have joined NMB48.

I hope that we can spend the time between now and graduation laughing together as we have done up until now, and that we can continue to feel happy together with each other in our daily lives.
