IMHO, if Tomochin succeeds having wonderful sales with this second single that will boost her career, it's not easy to be successful with two singles released in so little time (specially if they are your debut). My mind was a bit pesimist about it, but my heart told it to go to hell...after all, who needs a brain when all you need to know about what's happening in the world can be learnt watching Arnie's films...?

Ehh, it's really not soon at all if you ask me. It'll be 3 months since Dear J when this is released right? A 3 to 4 month gap between singles is pretty normal.

Don't worry. I'm sure Aki-P will be a lot bolder with production budget now when he is confident that product indeed sells. And in entertainment business these days budget counts a lot.

Keep in mind that Onyanko Club had at least one Onyanko Club related release almost every week of 1986, many of them being solo singles/albums from multiple girls.

Because Tomochin's single did so well, it's no wonder she's getting a second (gotta aim for #1, etc.) and I won't be surprised if Acchan's got a solo around the corner (and if Acchan is to get a single in the summer... well I won't be surprised if Mariko graduates at yokoari lol)

3 months between singles is not short. That would amount only to 4 singles in a year. Arashi has 6 last year and AKB48 has 5.

I loved Dear J despite being a song by one of my least favourite members, so I hope she keeps in the electronica - Namie-ish vibe, she pulls it off nicely.

WHY DID I NOT KNOW OF THIS.
MayuMyaoEre Candies was THE BEST THING EVER ç________ç.
But Acchan... she strenghtened my belief that Aoi Sangoshou isn't the song for her. In the "Ah~"-like long notes her voice is wavering and she can't hit the right note immediately, she is slightly off tune for a split second and has to adjust it. Seiko had a sweet voice but also a lot of power and flawless control. Acchan only has a sweet voice, and is decently in tune. If she really has to do a Seiko song, something like "Natsu no tobira" would suit her better, cause it works good even without powering it up.
