Yeah, i feel the same too. The lyric is like rough sketch. maybe is not easy the translate the lyric 'n making it like we used to hear from other indonesian song. meanwhile they had to kept the meaning of the song in the same time too. Well, my guess is they sacrifice the lyric 'n keep the meaning of the song. ... ...

But after i hear the song over 'n over again ...i said ...hey, this is not bad at all. In fact, i like it now 'n i understand the meaning of the song too ...this lyric it's really give positive suggestion to me ... ...

 

the problem about most JKT48 lyrics are.... Japanese songs uses alot of metaphor and personification, while Indonesian songs rarely use that kind of technique.
Their lyric also translated literally from the original lyric, while my friends and I prefer they should modify it a bit.

Until now, the only songs that translated well into bahasa(imo) is KimiSuki, because it's very direct and doesn't use too many metaphor.

 

Metaphor? Why not. It's not like Indonesian doesn't use metaphor in writing lyrics. It might be that way these days, but older songs have a lot of metaphor.

 

y'know, i noticed that there are 2 mistake with the lyrics on the screen. It's different with what members sang:

(X) walaupun kau terbawa arus
(O) walau dirimu terbawa arus

(X) jika dicoba tak akan tau
(0) jika tak dicoba tak akan tau


and i noticed too that:
> Ve made little mistake when "Takdirnya River!3x" and she shook her head bcuz she was upset/nervous with it.
> Melody shook her head too much when "walaupun gelap dan dalam".
> on some part, Cigul's movement looks a lil bit clumsy. Her shoulder seems tense.
> Rena were trying hard to change her usual 'innocent look'. She tried to look pierce, but sometimes she seems lost..

P.S.: no offense at all. Bcuz i love their performance so much, i keep replaying the video tens times a day that's why i notice a few things


the Ace for the performance is Kinal. I love that at the end of the song camera focus on her, shows her pierce and strong yet beautiful expression.
I love Ghaida expression, too. While the members give confidence, strong, and pierce look, Ghaida's looks more warm and rather convincing as if she said "I know you can" with a soft voice and a pat on the shoulder.
Haruka? I didn't see the usual Haruka. Her expression makes all these times' cute and adorable things she done as if never exist (ikaaaaanng.. ^3^).

Well, team J really did and still do their best. I love them even more
