Damn! Finally, a new Unit and its the Junai no Crescendo unit..
I'm hoping for big success for this unit, and i'm anticipating their debut single..
this is really great for Harunyan and Miichan, but for Takamina, its somewhat overdue.. but its never too late as they say..

oh yeah, this is going to be awesome!

 

well, maybe Aki-p got tired of munching chocolates but their "house" is still in Second Life so there's hope.

I have a feeling that Akimoto gave up on it a long time ago. This guy doesn't like to stick with his projects for too long.

Wow, what an awesome unit!

I immediately noticed that the B-side was arranged by AKIRA. That might mean something to fans (or former fans ) of Hello! Project, as he arranged many many songs for them. For example, AKIRA arranged things like Goto Maki's Afurechau BE IN LOVE, LOVE. BELIEVE IT, and WOW Suteki!... W's Ai no Imi wo Oshiete and Jinx... Morning Musume's INDIGO BLUE LOVE and HOW DO YOU LIKE JAPAN ~etc etc~... and perhaps most recently, High-King's C\C (Cinderella\Complex).

That got me interested in the arrangers for the A-side. They are Kitagawa Katsutoshi and... well, I'm not sure how to romanize the other one's name Anyway, Kitagawa is a member of a band called ROUND TABLE, and the other one (桜井康史) is a frequent contributor to that group's arrangements. If you're interested in hearing what ROUND TABLE sound like (now with a new vocalist named Nino), you can check out the tracks at their Myspace. I think they sound really good!

Looking at the work of those arrangers may give you an idea of what the songs will sound like. Arrangers are responsible for the song's instrumentation and often contribute highly to the phrasing of the song as well, and highly influence the final sound. I love looking at arrangers' work to see how they can learn and improve their own techniques just like the musical groups they produce

^ Listening to some of that.. sounds like Anime-ish songs or very Pop-ish. May be just her voice.. reminds me of Chobits opening Let me be with you... by... *searches* okay nvm. XD No wonder it sounded so familiar *sigh* The instruments are sort of soothing~ and calming~ But I don't think they will do a song like that ._.;; It's sorta slow..
