Single [SINGLE] SKE48 9th [Aishite Raburu!] 12/05/16

When I saw the number this morning I was close to post something like "So close from the million!" and then I realized one digit was missing .
Quite a shock... What the hell is mu-mo doing? To be late to send part of the CDs is one thing, but to be one or several days behind for all the theater editions . Well, hopefully sales will keep going on on the long run! [nod]

Edit : forgot : Congratulations SKE for taking Oricon 1st this time again! \o/

 

What about the theater edition makes them so attractive to people that it'd make such a big difference? [think] I thought normal Limited Editions with the DVDs would usually be the ones to sell more? I mean, you might as well pay the extra 600 yen for a DVD, right?

When I got the tweet from akbjournal I thought the number was missing a digit as well. Aishite Raburu! itself as a song was pretty crap at any rate, but I didn't think the numbers would drop so low. Releasing so close to the election single has backfired for them...I don't know why they chose to stack everything in May and June anyways, though NMB was unaffected to a certain extent, luckily. Wonder if we'll see this effect for Warota's and Not yet's subsequent releases after Manatsu no Sounds Good! too.

Theater editions come with tickets to a separate handshake event. You specify which member you want to meet when you preorder them and (I think) you get a longer amount of time with whoever you pick, so these are the ones that wotas pick up 50 copies of so they can spend the whole day shaking hands with their oshimen. I myself ordered 10 copies (3 tickets for Mieko, 2 for Mikkity, Mizuki, and Churi, and one for Akarin), and I`m pretty far down there on the wota craziness scale.

yup no surprise really.. I guess this will end up selling more than katafai despite it being a pretty mehhhh single imo

 

[whew] Not really a surprise but good to see fans didn't give up on SKE single to buy senbatsu single only. Also, those nearly 30k aren't theater version only. HMV was late dispatching some (most?) orders too, probably same for other shops.

Good to know Managuu didn't affect this single and yaaay let's beat KataFai now!

Too bad for me that the single was... Meh!
Maybe it'll grow on me.

I really don't get the hate on the song....I for one find this to be the best single among the 3 groups for this summer. I mean really, the song is catchy and the PV was a lot better compared to the other 2 singles, plus, the covers are actually unique compared to the other two.

Thats aside though, awesome 2nd day sales. Cant wait to see the first week sales

 

It is because the exact date of counting the "no-frill version / gekijou-ban" 劇場版 can vary because a lot of them were sold through channels like Chara-Ani. The previous single, Kataomoi Finally, made the count on the first day, but here it made it only on the 2nd day. There may still be some gekijou-ban that are not yet counted as the late orders may not be shipped until later this week, so we may expect some jump in sales (albeit not on the same scale as the 2nd day) later this week.

Some fans in Japan composed a chart to compare the sales of all SKE singles so far and you can see how the sales each day in the first week of sales go:

If I have to venture a guess, I think this latest single will break 500,000 mark in first week of sales. Although I think it is a weaker song than Katamoi Finally, I am still happy that more people are knowing SKE and buying their CD
