Any update about the sales?
Also....can we all take a moment to realize that this is the best selling sub-unit single ever ?
Anyway, I don't think they'll release more than 5 or maybe 6 singles. Sub-units have a short life lol

 

I don't personally see this as a sub-unit.
Rather, a diversion from SKE's great drop in sales from the departure of Matsui Rena.

Basically keeping the sales number on SKE48's record book nice

I'll continue to see this unit as "SKE's shield" until this sub-unit actually do something among themselves. (Like Tentoumu chu did)

 

Meh...to be honest, Mae no meri didn't sell so much- being the last single for Rena so I don't think the sale would have dropped so bad. And even if this sub-unit was an excuse for sales nobody can't deny that they did pretty good.

 

The true challenge for any sub-unit idol, is their second single.
They sell better, good prospect. Sell less, early disbandment. No second single, it already disbanded.

 

The difference between the last single and Mae no Meri...

The last single, Oricon count music card into its sales, Orion stop counting music card after that.

Mae no Meri likely have outsold the last one in reality

 

I think the other subunits didn't have HS events attached to them (and much less RH tickets with them), so... not a fair comparison, I'd say.

 

@SorrowAir Oh, didn't know that. Now I'm curious about the number of the sales if they counted music cards...

@Trinu I was having a happy moment there but you got a point so indeed, it's not a fair comparison. Now I'm kinda scared of the results they'll get when the next single is out.

Oh well, we shall live and see.

 

@Nory they stopped counting music cards at the end of March 2015, so any single sold after that doesn't count it.

Other subunits generally do, they just don't have half the entire group doing HS events with the single. This one did, so it was pretty OK in terms of sales.
