Yes, Fu will not be in it. Currently they have 30 members (including Okada Nana).

There will be 3 songs on each type.
2 common songs on each type with MVs.
The b-side songs will be STU48 units + STU48 vocal senbatsu (which is the 3 STU48 members that were the finalist of 48G singer contest - Okada Nana, Yano Honoka, Kadowaki Miyuna).
Vocal senbatsu will be on theater edition.
One of the unit song will be the common song. They will have an academic ability test on Imousu to determine which unit will become the common song (thus get the MV). The unit with the highest average score will get the MV.
A total of 7 new songs.

 

Saki left at the worst possible time, this could have been her last single with the group since everyone is participating, and i'm amazed they're doing it Sakamichi style (Keyaki/Hinata) senbatsu, wish it's gonna be like this from now on, STU feels more like Sakamichi anyways than AKB's sister group.

 

Other than the appreciation slots for their handshake event, do they have anymore gimmicks this time?

 

If I read it correctly, they will have a lottery on a sold out slot (only for the regular HS slot, not applicable for appreciation slot) for a chance (or 3) to win a signed cheki. They will do this on every sold out slot.
They call this gimmick "Thank you for sold out! premium lottery"

Are the girls selling out slower this time? IIRC, the website announced who unlocked their appreciation slots within 24hrs when balloting starts.

 

The first round has a time period of three days for applying (2019年6月3日(月)18:00～6月5日(水)13:00 https://stu48.chara-ani.com/), which means we will get the first results tomorrow, aka who sold how many slots and is able to unluck some appreciation slots.

The first 15 members (probably 16 if Fuu is there) are similar to the 2nd single, only this time we have Marina and Okichan is out from the top 15.
Much better position for Michu and MaiQ.
Considering her HS number, I'm guessing Okichan will be in Naachan position when Naachan can't perform.
*assuming that they are in their normal formation on that picture

 

So Hinachan's position got pushed down

 

Can't be helped for my poor girl, reshuffling of the top line is necessary 3rd year in with not much results shown or else fans will riot lol. It's a good move for the group as a whole to move forward though.
