Single STU48 6th [Hitorigoto de Kataru Kurai nara] (2021/02/17)

i really like the song and chiho makes a great center, the outfits and choreo are also really nice

 

The song sounds like a Ghibli soundtrack. I like it.

All of STU's A-side except Mubou na Yume is so good.

 

Watching the live I discovered the positions:
Sayaka - Honoka - Marina - Sayaka
Kokoa - Mai - Akari - Minami
Yuka - Nana - Mitsuki - Miyuna
Fu - Chiho - Yumiko - Hina

 

This song is god-tier, too bad they f*cked up any of its performance with this tasteless choreo. The exact same thing they did to Negaigoto no Mochigusare. 48G choreographers have no idea how to create a dance inspired by fairytale dolls without making it a bouncy mess.

Chiho is cute and fits this song's center really well, also, lovely outfits. The covers are wonderful and if they are any indication of what the PV will be like, then it will be stunning.

+1 to this - the choreo is already old school AKB park and bark style so i'm not sure why they couldn't have added some flourishes to make it more interesting. like if the girls got paired off and did minuet or waltz style dances or something like that. i'm not entirely sure of STU's overall dance capabilities but it would have been so cool.

 

I mean mubou na yume is not bad but it's really not STU sound at all.

EDIT: i just listened to the song. Finally the best new release from 48/46 so far (still have yet to listen to HKT's). Definitely like it from 1st listen. The choreography looks messy but I hope that's just because of cameraworks and due to 1st performing. Towards the end I thought "wt is this a chiho center or wcenter with yumirin" but then yumirin blended with others and it looks like her passing the center to chiho and it's now my most favourite point of the choreo.

 

"Hitorigoto de kataru Kurai Nara" will be the ending theme for the anime "Santa Company ~ Manatsu no Merry Christmas"

Moreover, Kadowaki Miyuna and Otani Marina will be voice actress in the anime.
They will voice over 2 angels members of the angels world's idol group: Kawai tenshi (カワイイ天使) and Mysterious tenshi (ミステリアス天使)

the mv and song is beautiful not sure if its coz i was too distracted by the mv but i do wish the choreo was a bit more interesting

 

Well, am I the only one who disliked the MV? Not at all what I expected and overall not nice I think...
(Also, once again, the bad choreo...)
However, I must mention, I can barely name two girls in STU, but they have so many beautiful members! Wow.

 

Both the MV and the song are very beautiful and the members look great in it especially Chiho.

 

The song... sounds like the verses and chorus are from different projects altogether. But I guess I'll get used to it!
The PV is nice and I guess they couldn't add much more due to the circumstances. Some interesting camera work here and there. And Naachan looks beautiful!

Finally 100k+! I like this song and MV. A little bit awkward but still looks nice =)

 

Finally watched it... not sure if its a good thing or not, but it feels very Nogi.

I agree though, I may only know Okada Nana and Takino Yumiko but there sure are a lot of beautiful faces in STU.

 

After watching the MV and the performance in Budoukan for soooo many times, I think the choreo in the MV is not the finalised version because the performance at Budoukan looked more "interesting" and complicated than what we saw in the MV. Overall it's pretty great. I love the colour scheme and the CGI isn't obvious or faulty at all (coughTeacherTeachercough). The close ups shots look amazing and the girls were right about the facial expressions because it's AMAZING.
