STU48 Subbing Project - Documentary, Setobingo, Imousu and minor shows

So on Oct 29th which was last month, it was announced that there will be a STU documentary produced by TBS who did the same inside-story for AKB members like Kitarie, Komiharu and Naachan. Now for this upcoming one, they are not just focusing on 1 girl but rather a whole group which is STU48.

Contents will probably include the TV crew following the group since their debut and up to now or so with the STU 7 prefecture tour. (My guess)

The short version will be broadcast sometime around the end of December and the full version will be out some time around mid-January 2018.

So I'm looking for anyone who is interested to join me in subbing for this documentary. Any help you can think that you can contribute is fine too. Experienced, first times or you just wanna experience subbing for fun no problem. Welcome!

I will spearhead this team as the main translator. But I hope I can get another 1 or 2 people to help me share the workload as well. Timers and QC positions are still open as well!

Our first project has come to fruition!

^no doubt it would be a perfect translation. I guess soft sub isn't available for a reason

 

Some fans in my pleace (indonesia) still dont know stu and cant understand english that Why we need to sub in indo too

Just maybe for softsub. We are still looking for volunteers to help us with that, since we all have limited time and hardsubs are the easiest to go for us right now.

Still recruiting new members in light of the future release of STU 7 hour documentary, we are in desperate need of manpower to help on the work progress to take down this juggernaut.

With the current team now, I'm expecting at least 4~8 months to complete the whole series one by one.

More people sharing work = faster distribution! So please give me a PM if you are able and want to help out contributing positively for the international fandom

 

due to a copyright claim the video is unwatchable, can you share the softsub in order to avoid such things?

 

[Announcement] January 30th

We are officially collaborating with 48douga now to release our hard subbed contents from now on. We will also use (that website) to release the hard subs.

For the soft subs, we will only share to other international STU fan sub groups for now. Once the whole season of Setobingo is completed then we will release the soft subs as a package on (the website must not be named here).

The 45min documentary soft subs will be released once the 90 min hard subbed is done. Then the soft sub of 90min documentary will be released when the 1hr Documentary of Type A is done. Then B > C > D > E > F > G as followed in the order.

We will be using tumblr for our releases of MV's (and "AI-tou-lu"). Soft subs for them will not be released.

P.S Still recruiting for translators preferably experienced with subbing or at least around N3 level. Also looking for a person who is good at tumblr website designs. ^ ^

(((I have to say right now chinese subs are fricking amazing. They already finished subbing the Chidori roke, Imousu, Mujack, and even the 7 prefecture concerts plus Christmas bonus ones LOL

I'm hella impressed. The Chinese community are hcore loving STU right now and its not just 1 subbing group but at least 3 subbing groups plus individual fan subs.)))
