you people say ice-cream, we are used to say ice instead of ice-cream. Might be better if I make it ice-cream indeed. Will do that.

^ think it is a dutch thing, since when we say ice-cream we say "ijs" which is also "ice" so whenever I translate it I always forget the "-cream" part when trying to say "ice-cream"

    Good evening

Today we had an A performance,
it's been a while since we had one

    During the perfomance I
sang and danced with all my might, it was fun.

And somehow, today was Sasshi's birthday show.

There was a suprise, Shii-chan brought a homemade cake.
It was a very heart warming birthday show.

    Sasshii congratulations on turning 18.

Yet another amazing and simple blog by Akicha :D

Kinda odd that they celebrated Sasshi's birthday a little late, but that's all right.
I hope they had fun ^^

    Thanks as always geko <3

    Akicha looks so pretty.

Pretty odd celebrating Sasshi's birthday this late but it doesn't matter.
At least she got to celebrate it.

    Thanks geko for the translations

    Good Morning

After this today I am going to a photoshoot

but before the French Kiss stylist
gave me WC Boots as a birthday present

    It's from Akicha's favorite brand

There are no heels therefore my feet don't get tired
    It's bulky so it's warm

    And on the side
there are bears attached to it

after this it is going to feel like Hebirote

Har Har Har, Those boots fit Akicha's image.

I love the bear pin in the second picture, I guess that's the brand she was talking about?
It's nice to hear that there's no heels (I've always wondered how uncomfortable it must be wearing heels all the time)
    Very nice ^___^

    Thanks Geko!

    Good evening

    At yesterday's A performance I had a rare hairstyle

It includes a little weave so I look a little more like an adult

Today after this I am going to work

Today I went to the award ceremony for the buzzward awards

Somehow AKB48 got in the top 10

Various people got to know AKB in 2010
    that made me very happy

There is only 1 month left in 2010,
I'm going to give it my all

T/N: I don't know what " 流行語大賞" or " 流行語" is. Does anyone know?
Edit: Thank you Kanki for your help with the word

It would be something like 'prize for the word of the year' (words people have been using the most in 2010 ... sorry for my approximative English).

I've been translating it as the "Buzzword Awards", 流行語 is basically a word/phrase that's popular and everyone is using.

^ now you say it, it makes sense. I knew it had something to do with commonly used words but couldn't find the proper translation. Thanks

Re: Takajo Aki / Team A

gekophetweb, if you do not mind, one or two things to improve your translations (slight misinterpretations) :
In the last post, it's the word 'AKB48' that entered the top10, not the group .. Maybe not a big difference but ... ;)
In the post before that, her hairstyle was more 'unusual' than 'rare', and the weave wasn't 'little'.

And I wanted to tell you (and all others translators) how admirable your efforts are. I know i couldn't do this each and every day. So, thank you.

Re: Takajo Aki / Team A

^ will take note of it. Noticed it in my other translations as well, was quite busy the last few days/ last week with some stuff for school so I just translated it really quickly. Srry for people who misinterpret the things I translated. But in the buzzword wouldn't it be obvious that AKB48 as the word got into the top 10 instead of the group itself, since it is a buzzword award where only words gets ranked? or is it just that I am doing weird things in my head?

Excuse me this late in the evening

Today I went to the recording for Happy Music

It's the first recording for "Chance no Junban" with the janken senbatsu

    Everyone was energetic and powerfull.

After that there was a recording with French Kiss for the release of "If" on 19th of January

It's the first time recording for "If" and I was pretty excited

After eating Chinese food with everyone I went to an interview

    Today was very busy.

And they're already recording for If, I can't wait to hear what it sounds like.

    Thanks as always geko!
