So I read that Acchan is staying in this unit even after graduation, but I'm not sure if that is from a confirmed source or just rumors.
This team line-up is really boring. It's pretty much AKB senbatsu member with Paruru and Akicha(poor Umeda, they'll forever ignore her).
i think thats not the problem, i think aki-p already process this setlist with kyouraku long before manatsuSG n sousenkyou even started, the odd one is aki-p knew acchan will out soon but he still make this ultimate unit of BIG3. i think aki-p try to make yuko n yuki transfer their energy to a person who will replace acchan after acchan graduated. i wonder who could that be? uh...a human? well, he's referring to Annin, Anna Iriyama from Team 4. Well, since it's for a /pachinko/ promotion, then a huge ammount of money must've been involved in creation. Money generates idea. And a huge ammount of it would also generate a huge ammount of ideas. Hence is why these "special" songs were created before A7 ----------------- Even though those members are frequent resident of senbatsu positions, but I'm actually rly interested to see them a whole in a team like this (and with addition of Rena from SKE, this will be totally awesome). I think the reason why majority of them are from senbatsu is because usually but not always senbatsu members' activity will attract a huge number of fans' attention. It's a business issue anyway, they won't take that much risk to use non/less popular member to promote the name of a huge company. Jurina is not taken because of her age, if she's just a bit older, I'm pretty sure her name would've been in.
Just picking up on this because it might be another, if not major, reason for having the senbatsu girls. As you say it's a business thing, obviously they wanted the 'money makes' in on this and that's what they got. I was thinking though that age played well into their hands here too as a lot of the girls they might of used (AKB has a history of popping them in here and there) could not be used due to the age restriction, thus freeing it up for all the big stars
Gotta please the sponsors first, that's for sure. Without them we probably wouldn't have them so. And 12 new songs sound incredibly compelling.
