    Finally -

    01. 9. (18) [23|0] [NMB] Shiroma Miru{+124,0}, 124
I gave Miru the full 15 points. She manages to be cute, funny and sexy all at once. She'll be missed.

    05. 10. (13) [19|0] [AKB] Yamauchi Mizuki{+120,0}, 120
Last of the 1xR girls in my list to rank just makes the top 10 but it's up on last time.

    18. 4. (3) [22|0] [AKB] Okada Nana{+157,0}, 157
Wish I'd given her more points then she might have kept her 3rd place.

Final finally, thanks to @Kuura for organising it this year!

Hori has been my first real Oshi and no matter what my respect for her only grew in these years. Much like Techi, it took a whole new generation for me to fill the space she left.

I haven't always agreed with Yuiri's choices, but she has been one of the reasons I keep coming back to check on Team4 even after the majority of my faves had left. An inestimable presence both for the whole group and for the new generations.

Zukki... what to say? Probably she is the only idol who could boast future goals bigger than she'll ever be and I would just nod along.
She's the present and hopefully the future too. Being the center in this mess of situation wasn't simple, but as little as it count, I really appreciated it.

Thank you @Kuura for your work :chuffed:

Sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree
Miichan was never done dirty by AKB management
Miichan has had her opportunities, no, she never got to center an a side, but she got plenty of opportunity to develop her variety persona in AKBingo, Shukan AKB and other show, heck, right after her scandal they allowed her to take part in the BAKA48 Mechaike special
Miichan herself has gone on record she had of opportunities but wasted some of them
In hindsight, Miichan hasn't had a big push like Yukirin, Paruru etc. but she for sure has not been treated unfairly in a negative way ... she sure has had some privileges/leeway other member didn't get
for sure fans of other member who got caught in a scandal must have thought her promotion back to a full member and captain of Team 4 was pretty/much too early.

And about M&S versus Ogi Pro ... Miichan never switched agency, she is still even listed as a talent on the Ogi Pro site, M&S is a sub agency of Production Ogi centered specifically around No3b

And about what Miichan wants, she has written in her article series that she didn't want to be a variety idol anymore as she realised she inadvertently hurt other people (this must have been around the time Bad Boys graduated from AKBingo)
The Woman Mental episode last year where she to her own surprise was selected as a comedian by Downtown's Matsumoto is the point where she refound her personality persona ... and since then the TV jobs kept on coming
There is no 'new manager' that sat her down and told her to stop wanting to be a model or actress
Speaking of her career as an actress, she performed in two musicals which seemed to have down pretty well and had a lead in a movie

btw, funny, but Miichan's move to Team K captain was a sort of a dead end, Team 4 gave opportunities to build ... Team K was a known entity not much to achieve there

anyway .... back to the rankings

    01. 14. (16) [12|3] [AKB] Minegishi Minami {+106,-12}, 94
    02. 99. (173) [5|0] [AKB] Oya Shizuka {+24,0}, 24
    03. 4. (3) [22|0] [AKB] Okada Nana {+157,0}, 157 Naachan has transformed from an awkward teen to something cool and confident, and yeah there is the Yuna thing, but I don't care if it's true or not, if not it's kinda silly, if it is ... good for them
    04. 111. (90) [6|1] [AKB] Mogi Shinobu {+23,-1}, 22
    05. 21. (18) [18|0] [AKB] Mukaichi Mion {+78,0}, 78
    06. 46. (126) [10|0] [AKB] Iwatate Saho {+44,0}, 44
    07. 26. (12) [11|1] [AKB] Komiyama Haruka {+69,-5}, 64

    10. 10. (13) [19|0] [AKB] Yamauchi Mizuki {+120,0}, 120 Imho a true idol, and we need those as well

    12. 30. (44) [12|0] [HKT] Murashige Anna {+58,0}, 58
    13. 61. (90) [8|0] [AKB] Nakanishi Chiyori {+34,0}, 34
    14. 74. (98) [7|1] [AKB] Onishi Momoka {+33,-3}, 30
    15. 166. (126) [3|0] [AKB] Shinozaki Ayana {+13,0}, 13
    16. 7. (6) [21|1] [AKB] Murayama Yuiri {+141,-5}, 136
    17. 19. (14) [16|0] [HKT] Tanaka Miku {+82,0}, 82

    20. 166. (142) [3|1] [AKB] Shimoguchi Hinana {+17,-4}, 13

    negative votes
    01. Yahagi Moeka (-5) yes, she didn't do much in 2020 and it seems you are not allowed to give points in that case, but she didn't do much the year before that either, got a center and called it quits
    02. Miyawaki Sakura (-4) call it a premonition

Ozono Momoko - Gonna say the same thing as last year. She is still 3rd gen's Center and many fans love her.
Saito Asuka - The current face/ace of Nogizaka46. It is hers to lead for as long as she stays.
Ikuta Erika - Mission accomplished. Nothing much to say because I don't need to. She's the Queen!!!
    :worthy::worthy::worthy:

Thank you very much @Kuura for hosting this event. It's always fun. Hoping that more will participate next year. I'm sure gonna be there. Until then!!!

    2020 RANKINGS

    Long read ahead...

    01. Oguri Yui AKB48 (+15)

2万年に一人の美少女the most beautiful girl in 20,000 years. Beauty that predates stone tools and agriculture deserves to be number 1. Yui is my choice to lead AKB48 as an undisputed ace.

    02. Yamamoto Mikana NMB48 (+10)

Ethereal beauty from the west. Her cold gaze was used to intimate other idols in the STU48 x NMB48 frisbee competition from 2020. The defacto center of W1N-C, other teams rotated centers during NamBATTLE, Mikana held the position throughout W1N-C's set. Mikana already went on hiatus once at the end of 2019 to consider her future with the team. She returned in March 2020, but back on hiatus this year for "health reasons."

    03. Ishida Chiho STU48 (+9)

Sleepy-eyed beauty (theme) from Hiroshima. Compared to the long limbs of my 1 and 2, Chiho presents a more compact cute image. She is quite quirky, prone to long silences in SHOWROOM, with sudden outburst of laughter (read funny comments?). another on hiatus for "health."

    04. Kuroda Fuuwa NMB48 (+8)

171 cm tall. She stands out almost too much on stage (think Abe Kyoka from HKT48) but her small face, graceful dancing, and good singing save her. Group her with Uno Mizugi and Hara Karen, these are some amazing pillars of NMB48.

    05. Yamada Kyoka AKB48 (+7)

A living doll, is how she was described on Oita TV. Part of my daruma set of idols with Fujizono Rei and Suzuki Kurumi.

    06. Fujizono Rei AKB48 (+6)

Unassuming at first, Rei has transformed to an elegant beauty. She appeared in 17live in a pink dress that had twitter calling her a princess, and have you seen her golf swing?

    07. Okamoto Rena NMB48 (+5)

The original standout of NMB48's 6th gen. The would-be model that lives in a real-life pink princess bedroom.

    08. Suzuki Yuka AKB48 (+5)

AKB48's problem child and conversation starter. Someone said her actions were akin to a "common tart." I think juggling fans and 2 boyfriends something only accomplished by a person of uncommon attraction (like Cleopatra with Egypt, Caesar, and Antony).

    09. Suzuki Kokona SKE48 (+4)

Quirky, cute, idol. SKE48's 9th gen debuted with such little fanfare that they announced a 10th gen less than 10 months later. Now 9th gen is starting to take its place in the idol world and Kokona stood out early on with her air-headedness and just oddball personality. When introduced on Zero Position, Kokona acted out some kind of weird pantomime that nobody got. She is the only junior to flat-out ask Jurina for a reason for her grad announcement, while recording a TV show. Jurina just smiled and moved on.

    10. Umeyama Cocona NMB48 (+4)

Is it fair to be this pretty? Underneath her good looks is a husky-voiced boke that is always fun to watch.

    11. Abe Wakana NMB48 (+4)

An intelligent idol. A perfect Tsukkomi for the many bokes in NMB48. Her routine with Mirai in NamBattle was the only one that actually got laughs (from me and the judges).

    12. Suzuki Kurumi AKB48 (+3)

3rd Daruma idol. Kurumi centering seijun philosophy was the best part of HUETONE's TIF set. She's adopted by Kato Rena, so that's reason enough to have her in the rankings. She is really cute and fun in handshakes too.

    13. Kato Rena AKB48 (+3)

Kato has accepted her position as a senior in the group and younger gens look up to her a la Kojima Haruna. She's regal in her attitude and movements. Speaking to her has a very calming effect. The fact that she will take part in ridiculous variety is part of her professionalism. Stage48 fans have accused her of not putting in the effort on stage but she is La Reina and if you watch her performance now she is grade A.

    14. Hirono Momona SKE48 (+3)

This position was between Momona and Mirei. Mirei's potential is unlimited, but for 2020, Momona showed herself to be the cute and fun personality between the two.

    15. Yasuda Momone NMB48 (+2)

She debuted as a chibi-dol and now she is a gravure beauty. She's often played for laughs on YNN, but on a BBQ livestream she was caught on-camera with a very serious expression as she prepared herself for broadcast. She has a very serious, competitive side and I like that.

    16. Tamura Natsuki STU48 (+2)

She's 18 and she looks 12 younger. Energetic and funny. She has an elf-like appearance and needs more love and opportunity from STU48. She has helium speaking voice yet surprisingly mature vocals when singing (she can pull off Masuda Yuka's role in Higurashi no koi).

    17. Yoshihashi Yuzuka AKB48 (+2)

Her large eyes totally stood out in the 3rd Draft selection. She has evolved into a gorgeous idol. Compared to many of the long-limbed members in Team 4, Yuzuka's short legs are remarkable in a good way (thicc).

    18. Nakano Mirai NMB48 (+1)

NMB48 mood-maker. She doesn't give a shizz what her bangs look like, and she performs with 200% energy.

    19. Kawahara Misaki AKB48 (+1)

An Edo-era woodcut painting (or maybe a one-piece character). I consider Misaki and Tashima Meru as having traditional Japanese beauty.

    20. Yoshino Misaki NMB48 (+1)

She's serious about English fluency, so +1

    The Ikuta Erika
Miona would've dragged the entire 2nd Gen here if she could. I really like Miona.
Would've been queen but got some down votes? I have no idea why anyone would down vote Nogizaka's ace. No idea. Asuka has always been really solid as a member and has been consistent since her first center.
Ikuta is best girl. As she should be.

Mirai is a promoted member and in NMB for 3 years already. I voted for Mirai and Misaki. for the other members most of their popularity does come from late 2020 and activities through March 2021 but NMB48 did really well using their online platforms to get the KK's noticed.
If there was a winner for draft 3, it was NMB48. Their latest editions are very promising and the group, to me, had the best revival for 2020-1 with the NamBattle series, and YNN channel is just more stable and better quality, with established skits like Anchu's dokiremo dating sims, making it more fun to watch than zoom OUC48 streams (esp. in early 2020). The new members for NMB48 are all very promising.

Except for my top 7, this isnt an accurate reflexion of my oshi list. I just picked girls I appreciated from the three groups and some girls I wanted to give points to. For nogi, I prioritize 4ki over my 3ki & 1ki oshi cuz I know they will rank better

There's a snowballing misunderstanding here, my good man, probably caused by the mastermind @nvmea . I looked at the format wrong and thought Minesquishy could have made top 10 with a single +15 but it's not the case (I shortly edited that observation out). And I didn't vote for her. I still wished she had made it though coz her story is kinda interesting and would make for a nice movie which would be a hit among women.

    01. 11. (8) [20|0] [AKB] Oguri Yui{+113,0}, 113 (+15)

    02. 19. (14) [16|0] [HKT] Tanaka Miku{+82,0}, 82 (+10)

Curse you, Oguri, 5 bucks says I'm giving 15 dollars to Mikurin next year no matter how much she keeps teasing people in magazines. Damn the rankings.

This was a very sad season for me as a fan with how lame the Hakata Nanairo stages were and Hana-chan (+7 from me, I know she'll always be middle of the pack), although always bright, is looking unnaturally thin. I hope there's nothing serious going on there. At least the Nanairo stuff is gone for now.

    03. 16. (30) [11|0] [AKB] Fukuoka Seina{+86,0}, 86 (+9)

    Nice going, fella.

All well and good, thanks @Kuura , and till next year, gentlemen, with fewer people voting and more Boredomzaka at the top. Still a fun event:shifty:

Always been one of my favorite ori member. I enjoy her youtube videos and I like it that she released a single last year. I would love for her to stay longer in the group.

    08. 4. (3) [22|0] [AKB] Okada Nana {+157,0}, 157
I'm ok with her I guess. I admire her singing skills? lol. Normally, I would have ranked her a bit lower. I only placed her here to contribute to the hope of not letting Sakamichi dominate the top 3. Oh well, it wasn't enough :^^;:
    09. 9. (18) [23|0] [NMB] Shiroma Miru {+124,0}, 124
I should have placed her higher, maybe somewhere from 4th to 7th. A complete packaged of an idol (talented, cute, sexy, pretty, everything).
    10. 219. (279) [3|0] [SKE] Hidaka Yuzuki{+9,0}, 9
    11. 79. (84-) [7|0] [SKE] Takayanagi Akane{+28,0}, 28
    12. 328. (---) [1|0] [MNL] Marsela Mari Guia{+3,0}, 3

    20. 180. (214) [5|0] [HKT] Yamashita Emiri{+12,0}, 12

Kinda sad that Nogi dominated the top 3, but well, it is what it is. There are more Sakamichi fans in the forum now. Overall though, there has been a lot less active forum members in recent years. Gone are the days of the negative votes for some would be around 60 to 90 minus points and the top 3 having 300+ points.

When it comes to favortism she received I guess I should've clarified that I didn't mean anything in these last few years. Early on though immediately after the first team shuffle it seemed like Minegishi Minami was being given undue opportunities compared to girls doing better than her at things like the elections and in handshake events just because she was one of the last 1st Generation members. This seemed and felt doubly obvious to me when comparing her popularity to that of Shinoda Mariko, Kojima Haruna, Takahashi Minami, Itano Tomomi, and Maeda Atsuko. It didn't quite completely change after her scandal and restart as a kenkyuusei either. Not until around 2016 did she start to tapper off to somewhere that was more logistically consistent with her rankings at the elections and her handshake turnouts. I'm hard-pressed to believe she was such a hot commodity variety wise over the years between 2009-2015 that it justified pushing her so much despite being surrounded by several more popular girls than herself who were not getting pushed.

And it was specifically the ones who were in Team A before the shuffle that they seemed to insist didn't get left behind and actually made it in the industry. Hirajima Natsumi who was also a 1st Generation member was basically left to rot in the theater seemingly long since considered more a 3rd Generation/Ori B girl than a 1st Generation/Ori A girl because of her transfer over there alongside Watanabe Shiho and Urano Kazumi when Ori B was formed. Outside of the theater the most noteworthy things one could say about Hirajima Natsumi were that she was in a sub-unit that was always centered by Watanabe Mayu no matter the release and that she was in Senbatsu enough times for you to count on one hand and still have finger left and had so little focus you'd be hard-pressed to remember she was in those Senbatsu.

Naachan is such a powerful force, such a beautiful person, and a great idol. She kept busy last year, and even in handing over the reigns of STU showed how much of a positive effect she's had on those around her. I hope she can stay around for a while longer and bring a little more goodness to 48G.

I'm not sure why I didn't rank Hori higher, and I was really moved by her grad announcement. She's one of the members that drew me into Nogi, and I love her oddness/cold-blooded killer persona :^^;: , beautiful expressive face, and continued personal growth.

My biggest regret is not ranking Zukki. I hope AKB forgetting she is the center isn't what made me forget about her too :(. She's so wonderful and I still can't believe how AKB managed to give her the center last year and then still squander her potential.
Congrats to the Nogis, I certainly can't deny the power of those top 3. And I can't argue with the rest of the top 10 either (though I'd take Yodachan over Momoko for 2020)

*By Yokoyama Yui I mean the former General Manager/Team A member not the girl from Team 8.

I didn't give any negative points. Not my cup of tea/style so I probably never will. Today I think the thing that surprised me the most is that one of the top 3 doesn't have any negative points. Congrats to Shiraishi Mai on that.

    01. 68. (196) [9|1] [N46] Yamazaki Rena{+36,-4},(+15) My new Queen of 48/46G. I love everything about her, she has completely surpassed Murashige Anna who has been the Oshi for years. Her 2020 and 2021 have been tremendous outside the idol world and I'm glad she's thriving
    02. 30. (44) [12|0] [HKT] Murashige Anna{+58,0}, (+10) I wonder if Twin Planet will still push her if she graduates from HKT??? Is she big enough to go on her own or does she still need that HKT tag

    05. 59. (---) [6|0] [K46] Ozono Rei{+36,0}, (+7) Zono is gonna be a problem soon, she's just built differently. She was born to be an entertainer
    06. 204. (208) [3|0] [K46] Harada Aoi{+10,0}, (+6) The Disrespect for Gobo-chan is real, I'm ashamed of you all
    07. 30. (38) [11|0] [N46] Kitano Hinako{+58,0}, (+5) 2nd gen!! Strongest Gen
    08. 70. (60) [5|0] [H46] Matsuda Konoka{+31,0}, (+5) She is probably the groups strongest overall variety talent, her hiatus hurt her outside jobs a bit but I think she will start getting a lot more work
    09. 145. (330) [5|0] [H46] Kageyama Yuuka{+15,0}, (+4)
    10. 93. (---) [5|0] [K46] Masumoto Kira{+25,0}, (+4) Everyone loves the weirdo's

    13. 166. (---) [4|0] [H46] Yamaguchi Haruyo{+13,0}, (+3) I have a bias for athletic idols, but Otake recently showed that if Ruyo really wanted, she could be arguably the prettiest in the group
    14. 249. (290) [4|0] [AKB] Okuhara Hinako{+7,0}, (+3) The newest addition to my favorites, Chiyori's youtube graduation prank sealed the deal for me, Hinako is hilarious and loyal
    15. 25. (70) [13|2] [K46] Morita Hikaru{+75,-6}, (+2)
    16. 63. (66) [7|0] [K46] Watanabe Risa{+33,0}, (+2)
    17. 204. (165) [3|0] [HKT] Jitoe Nene{+10,0}, (+2) Honestly, felt she should have ranked higher, she too me should have been future center candidate of HKT over Unjo
    18. 111. (78) [7|1] [IZN] Kim Chaewon{+23,-1}, (+1) The highest ranked IZ*ONE member not from Japan and my bias. She'll have a future in the kpop world
    19. 4. (3) [22|0] [AKB] Okada Nana{+157,0}, (+1)
    20. 63. (41) [11|0] [AKB] Ma Chia-Ling{+33,0}, (+1) AKB's #1 who would make the best wife

    01. 20. (50) [12|3] [SKE] Matsui Jurina{+95,-15}, (-5)
    02. 24. (34) [12|5] [K46] Hirate Yurina{+95,-22}, (-4)
For these 2, I had to do it. The way they went about their final months or years of being an idol I felt was just disrespectful not only to fans but more so to their group members. If you don't want to be an idol anymore thats fine, everyone can choose their own paths freely but I don't like when you play around with peoples emotions. You never knew when these girls were going to show up for an idol related job, sometimes it felt like they picked and chose jobs when it was convenient for them while the rest of the group is trying to carry on and adapt to not having a center around for the other 95% of their jobs.

All in all I feel like I did well, most of my picks ranked in the top 100. Watanabe Risa and Harada Aoi's rank were the most disappointing, Risa should have crossed the top 50 but Harada at 204 is mind boggling. YuuNaa is too strong as expected, they were almost even next to each other in the rankings. Hopefully if all the 2nd Gen Nogi's haven't graduated by this time next year, one of them will crack the top 10 aside from Miona
