In an instagram live today, both ex-coinclocker members annouced their intention to form a new band. To recruit new members they will be holding nationwide auditions. As to fund this project, they are relying on donations via crowdfunding, see link. Pretty much everything is explained on the project site, i.e how the money will be used and what backers will be receiving as a reward/return.

Just one thing, I honeslty cannot remember if campfire allows backers from outside japan. But if you want to support them, why not have a look.

Funai Miku featured on Tsukiyama Shoun track SEA SIDE BLUE. I think it is a re-release of an older track by Tsukiyama Shoun, It is a summer track, so enjoy it.

It says that the music producer is Kojo Yasuyuki who according to the S48 Wiki wrote 'Mae Shika Mukanee' and some other 48G songs.

You can access the archived live stream until 29/OCT 23:59 JST, so don't leave it too late, if you want to watch their debut show. Sound-wise it is more on the rock side, but not too heavy. Basically strings and drums sound, that you expect from a band.

It is really nice to see some of the former members of the coinlockers being active in the music scene.

GЯeeD releasing their 1st Single called「Arrow→」
Release date is the 27/NOV (JST). You can order it from their official homepage (https://girlsband.stores.jp/). However if you live outside japan, you will need to use a forward service to order it(i.e. fromjapan, buyee etc), as their shop doesn't support shipping overeas.
They are quite active at the moment doing a decent amount of gigs, but only a few of them are being live streamed. The next streamed one is at navey floor akasaka on the 02/DEC. Just got a DM on twitter from Matsurina promoting GЯeeD, I suppose she just sent it to all her followers - would probably go see them if I was actually in Japan (I just got back from there) - but if you are in the area you should go see them.

 

Is Goto Rika now join Okosama Plate? I watched their latest YouTube video and one of members, Chaki, call her Goto Rika. I only knew her as Gorika and I thought that was her stage name and she hide her real name, like other Okosama Plate member. So, I was surprised when Chaki call her with her full name. Btw, here is the link to that video.

There's no mention of Rika in the member profiles on the group's website but she's listed in their Japanese Wikipedia article:

月刊PAM/Gekkan PAM are Funai Miku and Utsunomiya Mirai.
News is a bit older now they have started activity earlier this year (2023). It looks like they have some backing. On the side, apparently the manager or producer asked at least one other former coinlocker member to join this project, but they/she refused.
If you check their twitter and the hashtag #月刊PAM, you can find some videos from their gigs. You can find a lot of videos on their youtube channel, live performance, signings aso.

Not too sure where it is heading, but by the sounds of it, if they starts getting more bookings, it will become a solid thing. A lot of pedigree in this quartet, worth keping an eye on them
