And for me replying to her 2nd post, wasn't I breaking the rule too? Nah, cause I wasn't playing the game, and not spamming either (I hope?)
^ always has me wondering what inspired her username. I left it out because it had nothing to do with what I was trying to say. Including it makes your response weirder, though: you apologize first, but then immediately tell her that she actually wasn't allowed to post that correction. How is that more efficient than just doing it the way Sanae did? I don't get the impression anyone here cares about her "breaking" The Rule™ in this case. It's more like a guideline anyway, but calling it that wouldn't work because it makes people think they can just choose to ignore it whenever they feel like it. The spirit of the rule is just to prevent a small number of posters from constantly replying to each other with low-content (even for a thread like this) posts which are no fun to any other posters. There's no need for insanely strict enforcement if someone breaks the rule for a perfectly good reason. Again, I don't think people care beyond the fact that we're having this overblown discussion in the middle of a thread that's supposed to be about a fun and light-hearted game. I doubt even Sanae herself cares this much, but I'm only white knighting for her because I scared her in some other thread.

However, I think that I would be breaking the rule again if I reply so I just leave it alone. Acutally I get the meaning. I think I should stick on the rules to avoid misunderstanding.
