I was thinking someone would start this

Oba -> K
Shimazaki -> A
Shimada -> B
Takeuchi -> A
Nagao -> B
Nakamura -> B
Mori -> K
Yamauchi -> A

This isn't really thought out well, just randomly done xD K needs popular members so I put Mori and Oba there. Shimazaki and Takeuchi give me A-vibes, and it'd be cool for me personally if Ranran was in A. I think Mariyagi would be good in B, and the other two are left over. This way the 9th gen would be spread evenly through the teams =D

 

My Predictions

Oba Mina -> A or B
Shimazaki Haruka -> A or K
Shimada Haruka -> K
Takeuchi Miyu -> B
Nagao Mariya -> A
Nakamura Mariko -> B
Mori Anna -> A or K
Yamauchi Suzuran -> B

I really want Anna (I thought she'd be a good successor to Mariko in Gold Rush) and Mariya in A because I think they fit the image of the set list. The others I'm not sure about, so I just relied on their image. Making predictions for possible K girls was difficult because it's hard to picture any of them in K aside from Haruu.

 

I'm kind of bummed that none of 11th gen are Myao unders. I love Shimagon and Marinchan, but lol. Shimagon's just isn't that good, but Marinchan's is flat-out terrible (and I really really love her). I think Shimagon's in one of the LODs I linked above and I never thought I'd actually be RELIEVED to see her in Arashi, but... XD; I felt impressed by most of the 11th gens, so it's like that none of them are Myao.

At least Nau is fabulous in her 1 solo line

 

Predictions-

Oba, Mori, and Nakamura to A
Shimada and Yamauchi to K (they only get two because they have Yui, so it's 3 9th gens per team)
Shimazaki, Takeuchi, and Nagao to B

With these promotions Team Kenkyuusei is now the only team at the "ideal" 16 members. Problem is that between 10th and 11th gen they are doubled up on some positions (Mayu, Yuka, and Mika) and don't have anyone for some positions (Natsumi, Sumire, and Natsuki)

Edit: Oh wait, looks like Miori has started doing Sumire's position, so that one is covered now.

About who's going to which Team, I'm sorry aakun, but I'm pretty sure Shimada is going to end up in K She subs for Tomochin already, which is a very prominent position.
although I kinda wish she didn't because she seems to get a lot of hate u_u

 

The December 10th theater show is pretty interesting. It was the first one after the promotions so there was acknowledgement of that and it was kind of a Ranran birthday show. There wasn't a birthday celebration at the end but it did seem like the camera was on her a bit more (maybe just my imagination).

Other random notes:
Ranran did her unintelligible babble again during her introduction
Nakamata's intro was something like "Shio Rin Rin Rin (while holding her hand up like a phone) Eh? 9th Gen got promoted, Nakamata!" Then she broke down and got real emotional about the promotions.
Minarun likes to eat sandwiches with just mayonnaise and potato chips inside (or maybe it's with some other stuff too)
The group MC talk with the girls wearing hats was about which member they would want to marry if they were boys and if they were girls (ok they already are girls but you know what I mean). Ranran and Mariyagi did a goofy pose to introduce the topic.

am I correct in saying that mori anna is the first one to do yuko's mini solo dance at the beginning in its completion? Other girls at least cut out the part where they drop to the floor.
