Sure the Japanese group members all live in their own apartments but having a dorm isn't that much different, they're all together too. A lot of the Japanese girls dropped out of school too afaik, since you don't actually have to go to high school in Japan. But I'm pretty sure SNH girls are still going to school?
Re: [NEW GROUP] SNH48 (Shanghai, China) it is a rubbish vocational school appointed by management. if members want to further study, they can only choose nothing but that one,which is written in the contract. the tuition is as much as 20000 RMB per year (compared with 6000 per year for public university) ordinary families would by no means accept that arbitrary item which intervenes in education. many girls along with parents immediately quit the final selection at sight of the contract.

Is Zhiyu the Sasshi of the group then?

I have hopes for SNH that they will grow on real talent, and not the sort of thing that put someone like Sasshi, who has no talent at all except for a personality, up high, and who is so special that the rules that destroy other girls don't apply to her....to wit...this girl I dislike greatly ...etc etc. To equate Zhiyu to her is an insult. A Find it a bit unpleasant equating some of SNH girls to some of the AKB girls. I'm hoping for SNH to be something better, better foundations from the very beginning. Not that AKB doesn't have some really great talented girls.
