Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, it's the only one i could find that kind of matched what i wanted to say [hi] -CompleteN00b- [blush] My birthday's coming up and i've been wanting to preorder a copy of AKB's first album and buy a copy of Atsuko Maeda's photobook, but my family all think it's really really strange that a 14 year old girl would want to buy AKB48's merchandise since they all think that AKB is just a group of teenagers in bikini's for old men, no matter how much i try to explain, are there any girls here in STAGE48? If there is, do you ever get this? how do i reason with them? and tell them i'm not lesbian, i just like there music and like supporting my favourite members? Let me tell you all a little something about living in a tourist area.. Begin Rant: Spoiler When you start with a town who's -actual- population is around 10,000 and then add in spring break visitors from 40 different states and boom the population up over 100,000.. bad things happen. That many people driving along one stretch of road that runs along the Gulf of Mexico and jumps across islands and no one has any idea where they are going.. you get car accidents. Constantly. Those of us who actually know where they are going... and are just trying to get home from work are literally screaming obscenities at them. Four car pile-up right at the base of the bridge to the island. (where I live) NOT A SINGLE FLORIDA LICENSE PLATE INVOLVED. Normal trip from work to home: approx 12 minutes. TONIGHT: 51 minutes. :angry: It's bad when the locals try and plan their vacations to LEAVE this place when other people are dying to come here. End Rant On the bright side.. the people stuck in traffic beside me got to hear me sing Kiss Made 100 Mile and Two Roses... then got to watch me basically SCREAM Banzai Venus and Yoroshiku. Oh the funny looks I got.
