It's important for those who save pictures from google+ manually: I'm not sure whether you guys have noticed it or not, but google+ optimizes the pictures based on the screen resolution of the user or rather based on how big the browser window of the user is. Even if it is not supposed to do this... This results that some of you may get smaller pictures than the original pic when you want to save them. EXAMPLE https://plus.google.com/100694627368957 ... q64ys2jMzJ In Chrome for example, you can drag the pics onto the top of the browser window to open them in a new tab and then save them. However, if you don't have a big monitor, g+ won't show you the original pic. You have to edit the URL in order to get the originally uploaded pic. In this case I got this URL: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-SoMP ... 575/19+-+1 -SoMPEOsCbMs/USQ4QQupMoI/AAAAAAABCuY/3X6d3QosnJc/s575/19+-+1 You want to edit the part highlighted in red. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-SoMP ... 000/19+-+1 I've changed the s575 to w2000 that sets the width of the pic in pixels. If you enter a bigger number than the original pic has, g+ will show you the pic in the original resolution.
