The idol group FRUITS ZIPPER appeared at a press conference to commemorate the release of "FRUITS ZIPPER PERFECTBOOK FRUPPER NO HON vol.1" held in Tokyo on the 24th. The members are Karen Matsumoto (21), Yui Sakurai (23), Amane Tsukiashi (23), Mana Manaka (23), Ruka Nakagawa, Noel Hayase (19), and Suzuka Chinzei (24). The group, whose "My cutest place" was played 700 million times on TikTok and became a hot topic, celebrated the first anniversary of their debut and talked about their dreams for the future.

The idol group FRUITS ZIPPER appeared at "TGC teen ICHINOSEKI 2023" held at Iwate Ichinoseki General Gymnasium U-Dome on the 27th. The group's first nationwide tour is coming up this fall.

The group were scheduled to appear at the 'A-Kon Episode 32' anime convention in Irving, Texas (just outside of Dallas) on 6/2 & 3 but they've had to cancel due to entry visa issues:

FRUITS ZIPPER, who was scheduled to perform at the "A-Kon 32" event in the United States on June 2nd and 3rd, 2023, will no longer be able to participate due to unforeseen circumstances in the process of obtaining an entry visa to the United States.
We had been diligently preparing and applying for the necessary visa to travel to the United States for several months. However, we received a notification from our lawyer stating that our visas would not come in time for the event. Despite our team's efforts to negotiate until the end, we deeply regret that we will not be able to perform at the event as planned. We sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience caused to everyone who was looking forward to FRUITS ZIPPER's performance at the event.
