a reality show which raised JKT48 activities, idolgroup produced by Yasushi Akimoto, the founder of Japan's leading idolgroup, AKB48. In each episode, the JKT48 members will conduct a social mission and other missions with the ultimate goal of achieving the desired results, such as entertained nursing home residents, visit the public figure/artists/specialist, or a detective mission to solve a case and many more. in addition to carrying out a mission, JKT48 Missions also raised the personality of each member who is not only talented on stage and cheerful, but also raised the social side of their as a source of inspiration other adolescent children in this time.

It's a good thing that TransCorp would be the one behind the productiosn, since they're better in creating variety shows than other TV station. They had the highest number of self-made variety show than any other stations. I just hope that they would create this show into some unscripted variety show, like Running Man maybe. So that we could see the girls real/hidden persona/charm and even watch their growth where they gradually overcame their shyness in front of camera.

Trans|7 has been known for these kind of "reality shows", especially the ones which hosted by their main artists (Tukul Arwana and OVJ casts spring to mind). And I'm very excited that JKT48 will follow their steps.

But, since (probably) this show will be hosted by the members (unlike JKT48 School which was "hosted" by John Martin), I think that the success of the show would be up to them. They need to express themselves, do some improvisation, while trying to complete the "missions" given by scriptwriter/producer

Is it probable that the photos were taken from the show's set? If so, it's interesting to see there were 2nd gen members joining. It's about time for them to get exposure too.

Anyway, the description on the poster sounds fun! I can't wait for it to be aired [clap]

Still, 45 minutes of show felt a bit too short. It could ruin the fun (especially when there is various ads and such).

Agree on this. Since it is called 'JKT48 Missions' where they will complete the task assigned to them, it will be unnatural if they do it according to script.

I would like them to play and have fun in this show

I really hope the girls don't go "ja'im"...
that would ruin the essence of variety show. Kinal is still the best member for this kind of show, IMO..

I guess the duration of the show itself would be approximately 30 minutes. The rest (15 minutes) are spared for advertisements.

About ads.. I assume that some or maybe even majority of JKT48 fans prefer to watch the show on YouTube than on television. One reason might be to fully enjoy the show without disturbed by ads, another reason might be simply they can't wake up in the morning

I wonder if Trans|7 realize this habit of the fans so they would "cut" the time for "between-segment" ads and place them during the show instead (running text or byline ads). So, the fans would still see the ads

Though the concept of some of their shows are copied from foreign TV shows... Such as Supertrap which often plagiarized jokes/traps from Japanese show.

After reading the program description, JKT48 Missions might be copying the concept of Amazing Race (US show) or Running Man (Korean show).

But, let's wait for the teaser first before giving judgment, eh?
