Madcat2020 it should work on the iphone cause you be converting it to Mp3 format. I tried what honeysenpai said to do and it works. Additionaly though after making a copy of the audio portion of the video using mediacoder, you can splice, loop, edit the audio track using windows movie maker.

Mine is some standard one that came with the phone.
It's called something like "Turning off"

....but now that i think about it, it might be a little more difficult for you since your in canada so i dont know which mobile services are offered there because you have to choose your carrier/mobile service in one of the drop boxes on that site. by the way, the site is safe for anyone reading this post, used it more than several times. EDIT: oh geez and plus i also dont know what your phone capabilities are (can send or receive picture/video messages, or download the attachments on them?) [doh] normally, this wouldnt be a problem for people in the US, specifically Verizon users like me......

careful when sending ringtones to your phone if your phone cannot connect to your computer. sometimes, the sound quality becomes either slightly distorted or pretty bad when it is finally sent to your phone. my guess from my experience is that it depends on the phone. but anyway, if your ok with that, then you got yourself some ringtones.

and if you want to personalize your own ringtones, you can refer back to one of my later posts and then

videos can be easily ripped by freeware available on the internet

and then send it to your phone. long process, but this works for me and hopefully it works out for you too. obviously, i got lots of time on my hands [nerd] [nerd] [nerd] [nerd] but its fun having your own personal ringtones that you created yourself. definitely beats whatever ringtone your mobile service is trying to sell you by a longshot. HAVE FUN and let me know how it works out

It seems my phone doesn't support customized ringtones since its a japanese keitai (aka cellphone).
The ringtone can only be changed by connecting to the internet and downloading, but the Canada network isn't compatible with it.

So old schoooool. [yawn]

I use Audacity to create them and bluetooth or BitPim (use at your own discretion) to transfer them over

Mine is the 30 first second of Sunburn, by Muse (yeah i know, its not an AKB song, but its still a very nice one!).

I wanted to put other ringtones for each contact, but as its boring (have to shorten the song, then renamed it in .m4r, then blabla blabla ... boring) to do it without paying (i have an iPhone), i only have one for all my people lol.

and my text tone is Amina saying "I want to marry her!" (about Matsui Rena in the Danso AKBingo episode... lol.)

Actually I don't think it would. iPhones use m4r as their ringtone format, not mp3.

Alternatively, if you want to make a more accurate cut, use Audacity and transfer it over to iTunes, convert to AAC etc, etc.

My ring tone is "Walk the Fire", the second theme song for The Unit. I have the first theme song also stored on my phone.
