What Singles do YOU want to see from MNL48?

I'm glad I'm not the only one ready to see other girls take center stage.

Don't get me wrong, I like Sheki. Very pretty and talented girl. But 3 singles in a row? Let's mix it up after that, shall we? Lol

 

I think they've properly built up Sheki now as a very reliable center but I think the other girls deserve a chance too especially since I don't think she's even in the top 3 of most popular members. Will there be a second general elections btw? I feel like I've seen people talking about it.

Im also guessing there will be soon a second general election this year- if im not mistaken they mention before that they will held the election each year and the top 1 gets to "center" all the song that will be released on that same year until the next elections comes.

One of my favorite songs is "Mae Shika Mukanee" and I think that MNL48 would do a really fun version for it~

 

JKT, and BNK's 1st elections were for their 6th single. Unless another World Election gets announced before then, their 5th single will probably be the voting one.

But thinking about the language and the overall voice of MNL48 girls i think there are some songs really ideal for them:

IIRC this happens with AKB all the time. How is it any different with MNL48?

- Sheki is one of the most popular MNL girls. If she's not top 3, she's at least top 5. At the HSE event yesterday, her lane had one of the longest lines.
- The general elections will be on April 27.

 

So, based on our singles so far, we've had:

-A typical JPop song (Gustong Makita)
-A retro song (PFC)
-A ballad (365 Eroplanong)

If MNL wants to continue this trend of good variety, I THINK...we need a dance single next.

I know a lot of you would probably vote AKB's Uza next if that's the case. Me? I'm gonna stick to my guns and say NMB's Must Be Now should be next. I think that one would be a REALLY good fit for MNL based on Filipino dance trends and the amount of dance talent MNL has right now.

What do you guys think? Agree? Disagree? Or something different?

So with Aly's impending center spot (unless something happens), I was thinking of songs that would suit her from the songs that haven't been performed yet. I would like to see her center Eien Pressure, Gingham Check, or Ponytail to Shushu.

 

So with the ABS-CBN contract, I'm guessing we'll finally have more exposure for the girls. All of them hopefully, not just media Senbatsu.

That being said, hopefully we get enough momentum to get subunits and matching songs. As for me, I'm hoping for:

JKTR - Anything Queentet. Pretty sure that's a pretty good match. Which One, maybe lol

Dian and Mari - I can see them pulling a NakoMiku. Hayaokuri Calender could be fun lol

Abby, Grace, Cess, Belle - If we don't have anything with them along the lines of French Kiss I swear to GOD lol
