What's up with this changing wall paper on Stage48?

I get it's a tribute, but I still believe it could have been done in a less annoying fashion than flashing five low quality enlarged images in a continuous loop. Its only effect was to make me mildly dislike this Mika girl without knowing a single thing about her.

It's better than the flashing, headache producing gif background for Hana Tojima's birthday but yeah.. I blocked the background with adblock plus.

 

Hmmm, before it was Hana and now it was Mikachii.

I just... don't understand what the big deal is. I DON'T MEAN TO BE RUDE! Please don't I'm being mean or anything! I just... see it as a fun little thing to do for one day out of the year. It's nothing to get all ~stressed over.

 

I have found a harmony with this world and didn't pay any attention at this annoying brainaching background which made nightmares out of my dreams

 

tbh, i think its pretty cool to kinda alter the wall paper on s48 in tribute to one of the girl's birthday. kinda interested in seeing what this "hanaday" is [wonder]

 

I don't mind the banner changing for a girl's birthday, just not the wallpaper because sometimes it can be extremely distracting, or maybe even slow down it down because of all the animation.

^ As for Hanaday, it was a fast flashing wallpaper of Tojima Hana in extremely bright colors (the Mikachii wallpaper was tame in comparison). It was known to give everyone headaches. You'll see it in July, assuming that it's still going to happen.

 

It was annoying but I actually thought it was quite nice to have a colourful background instead...

I know it was a couple of days ago xDDD but still, I liked it a lot, regardless of the fact I was in a super slow computer with no adblock. Besides, as headache inducing as it was, it has always been a tradition here on s48, Mikachii was Waffle's oshi, etc. I was also glad because it showed that birthday banners were back so thank you.

 

Ok I know the background was a couple of days ago but I thought it was cool even if it gave me a headache.
But one problem about it was that it made my internet go slow XD
